Hey jones and ranger, read his original post before you start popping-off...SSG was excited about getting his picture made with a President he admires.  That's all he said and did.  Now, several of you guys get uncorked simply because you don't like his Presidential choice, proceed to launch your little CNN-inspired diatribes and insults, and somehow thats perfectly OK.  Well, it isn't.  SSG served his country with valor and paid a big price for it (do a search at this site and you'll find out exactly how much) and you guys should respect him for it, not "question his values" or accuse him of "crying" because you don't agree with his politics.  He's not asking for your respect, and he doesn't need it.  But, if you guys had any class at all you'd apologize.

Are you saying in your subsequent post you remedied the problem of your first post when you accused a disabled veteran, that served in Iraq with honor, of having something wrong with him simply because he posted a picture?  You gotta be kiddin'!  That second post was more of a veiled insult in my opinion.  That's why I said that you needed to apologize to SSG - you still do.  Insulting someone because you don't agree with his politics (in this case the object of his picture) is in itself a political statement made by YOU, not him or me.  And, the way you jumped on this, along with others, depicts the kind of virulent hatred that's been stirred-up over the last few years mainly by the left (read media), resulting from a lot of hype and a few well-parsed facts.  Hence the CNN comment.  I'm all for debating the issues...but not for throwing insults.  

BTW, if you think our freedoms to hunt and fish in this country are not affected by the political climate in this country, again you gotta be kiddin'.  Politics are VERY relevant to hunting and fishing.  And, I'm not alone in that belief.  If you don't believe me why don't you start a thread on this site and see where it goes?
