What did THAT score?
Haven't scored it yet David. 14"horns, 5 1/2" bases, and 3 1/2 diggers. First antelope... Only measurements we did....I will measure when I get home...Was more impressed by my shot than the score yesterday. Four of us killed four antelope. 2 shots were 400 and two were 500 yards.
About 76 and the beer was ice cold ol' friend. My congt's on the antelope----nice and a really great shot!!!!!!!!!!! BUT OL' FRIEND I don't see any of them tall pines that I am a gonna be in, just open DESERT. Again congt's on a great hunt.
Nice shot. What rifle you shooting there?
Sendero 7 MUM
That's a great antelope...and a great shot too. With any shot over 300 yards to me a geared-up 7mm is the only way to go. What weight bullet and type were you shooting...140 grain?
I am going to post a short video in a few days. Gotta check with the producer and make sure it is OK.
The bullet was a 160 grain nosler partition. I have to get them hand loaded as Remington stopped making them. Scope is a Premier Reticle, and they too have been out of business. Hmmmmm..... maybe I am next to go out!
Going to score it before I drop it off at the taxidermist today. Brought the meat home too. Curious about that as well as they said it was very good eatting.
Rough scored it at 83.4...
Nice antelope, awesome shot amigo.
