Does anyone know what this could be?  We have a few elk running around, could this be a calf elk?  Or yearling axis?  The shadows hurt the pict, but i swear there are white spots on this animal!

Looks a lot like an elk to me. Looks like the tail is too short for an axis.

Elk calves are spotted for a time like whitetails.

Legs are too long for axis or sika. My take is elk or red stag calf
