CLOSER LOOK AT OLE 3 HORN
Category: Exotic Animal

Here's a picture of a buck, Ole 3 Horn, that has three antler bases. How would a deer like this be scored? When I first saw him, I thought it had another deer's broken antler on him. We looked at him a lot closer and saw that all three belonged to him. Only in West Texas.

is the 3rd antler taped on with electric tape or is that a strange shadow?

That's the tag required on deer by the state. I assure you, there are three natural bases on him.

Is that a breeder buck or a hrvested buck? Either way very cool. My uncle shot a deer about 15 years ago that had a tine protruding from just above left eye. It was about 8 inches long and bladed. Thanks for sharing.
