El Cazador 14 point
Category: Native Animal

David Morris' 176 7/8" buck from his El Cazador Ranch this morning.

Congrats to David.  He's hunted long and hard for several bucks this season and this 8 1/2 year old monster is a fine conclusion to a long season.

Good Hunting.

By the way, this makes 10 170 or better bucks from all over the country that have been taken on camera for their "Bucks of Tecomate" TV show on Versus.  Not sure that's ever been done before.

Never seem to hear the phrase "fair chase" or all this talk about tags never seen a tag on any deer taken on this program.  But what I know I'm just a regular guy who hunts his own land on a couple hundred acres in Minnesota.  It is a great experiment don't get me wrong on that but it is a bad image for the average person flipping through the channels to stumble on.  Here is a picture of a non Tecomate buck taken the old fashioned way not in a glorified barnyard.
