Hey check it out! A non-political post on a hunting website.

This is some good stuff.  Hunter uses a primative bow and films the deer hunt by himself.  Will primative man bring home meat for dinner tonight? Watch and find out.

And as well our best intents for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of our beloved harvesting traditions, practiced within the most effective manner of your choice, with respect for the harvesting persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice harvesting traditions at all. In sum we hope you enjoy this numerically successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated video in recognition of your own harvest traditions without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, or religious faith of the wishee.

Whatever all that's about...I enjoyed the attempt to caveman hunt some food.

Didn't look high to me either - you wonder what type of broadhead he was using.

Hunter must have been a democrat....

Sorry.. couldn't resist...;-)

The video is well done, too bad about loosing the doe. It looked to me like he was at ground level shooting up, The hit looked very high, above the mid-body line. I agree that the deer will probably survive the hit. It would not have mattered what type of broadhead was used in that location...in my opinion.

I always say...I would rather miss low, than hit high. I pick a spot as low as possible in the kill zone.

I agree with you chunky.  I think these other guys need to get their eyes checked.  That was definitely a high hit.  Under the spine, barely.  You know most texans...Like to criticize what they are'nt able to comprehend.  Especially power happy gun enthusiasts who can't appreciate the simplicity of following in our forefathers footsteps.  I'll make a suggestion now...Try it before you knock it.  Bet you would have missed that deer alltogether LL cool smith. LOL!

it kinda makes me wonder why chunky & ol' slick would want to get personal over a deer video.Must be that LSmith is right about being democrats. They are well known for running out of substance, & then getting personal when they do!
