To give you a feel for the size of this giant, the buck that he just destroys is a 240 lb. 150" 9 point. The reason that El Mostro is such "a monster" is his frame (and I don't mean just antlers). He's taller and longer than anything else out there. It's like watching Shaq amongst normal men. I love the way he just lifts the other, older buck off of the ground at the end.

Those are two massive bucks. But El Mostro is without a doubt the biggest over all buck I have ever seen. What will he score? I would love to have eather one on my wall.

After looking at both videos what would you age him at last year (assuming these were taken during the same season)...5.5 YO?

hornhunter,

The big one is somewhere in the 180's.  27+inch mainbeams, wide and very good mass.  Didn't find either shed, but at 3 1/2 I did and he scored around 165 with a much smaller frame (still had 25+plus mainbeams).

wohalliburton,

You'd be right to judge them both at 5.5 based on this video.  But I have pics of the big one from last year at 3.5 and the year before at 2.5.  He fits all of the 5.5 criteria, but he's just a "beast" of a deer.  I'm attaching the 2.5 year old shot so you can see it.
