Thanks for posting this Chris.

God bless the men and women who answer the call.  From Goliad to the Alamo to the battle of San Jacinto to the folks serving today I am thankful for all they have given.

I listen to that speech and prayer and it saddens me to see where we are as a nation and and have the so called "Leader' we have as a President and it makes me ashamed to be and American but i will always be the Texan  i was born and bred and proud of that.

I now understand what my father taught me and led me to believe and we should never forget what these men of old have given us to enjoy or call our freedom....God bless the United States of America and God bless the great state of Texas

Let us not forget, if it were not for these men and women we may well not have the freedoms we have today. We as a nation must not allow others take away our way of life in the name of equality or these brave peoples will have fought and died for nothing. I for one can only hope and pray that it is not to late.

Thank you Chris...great post on remembering a day when our freedoms hung in the balance, and while a number of soldiers paid the ultimate sacrifice God indeed had mercy on us.

But to think that there are those today that in effect trample the blood spilled by these brave men, and others before and after them, by deriding this nation, in order to elevate their own power or reputation is unconscionable.  In fact, pure and simple its traitorous.

Amen wohalliburton, there are those that are only interested in their own agenda and do not care who they step on to achieve it. Treasonous is an UNDERSTATEMENT.
