They say it's rare to actually witness this first hand and this is the first and only time I have done so.  This is a perfect reason why you should do your best to cull any deer that you don't want before the rut starts.  At 4.5 This guy really wasn't going to get much better to me at 5.5 or even 6.5.  I have far better deer at 2.5 than this guy but I was waiting for my wife to come down and use this as her first deer.  she's not really caught up in the deer hunting game but was going to give it a shot.  She was with me in the stand and I was trying to get her to take him before this happened but it didn't work out.  This buck was able to breed this doe again after this in the same afternoon, the second time a was really pressuring my wife to shoot him right off of her back but..... again it didn't work out..... a man's got to do what a man's got to do.....
