Very nice trip - not exactly your ordinary day(s) of fishing. A lot of open territory in that country. Years ago we slept in pickups one night to get our check out dives for a scuba course (for fresh water the diving there is great too). It was so bizarre because several tarantulas were around our site at dawn, and they were huge. With their vision they really couldn't hurt anything (at least that's what we thought at the time) so we just stirred them up a little and let them go on their way.
Yeah, it actually wasn't a regular fishing trip, but more a tour of the lake and the services that James Burkeen had to offer as a guide. You have to remember that we were there in mid-December and the weather was miserable so a large part of what would be fishing time was spent exploring the historical nooks and crannies.
There was just so much great footage (wild horses, incredible ranches, etc) it was nearly impossible to fit it all into one video.
