Curious but cool, maybe he was drawing them in just to shoot video. Maybe The coyotes thought the dog had a rabbit, and was intruding on thier territory. I have a coy dog and there are villages in Mexico where most of the dogs are part coyote. Maybe they had lovin' on their mind.

I have heard of hunters training their dog to bring in coyotes.  It looks like this dog is coyote friendly and he was just getting some footage.  The dog was quick to respond to all his masters signals.  At one time I thought I could hear a shell being jacked into a shotgun, but his dog charged out.
