Summary: My family and I have always enjoyed eating wild game including wild hog, always being cautious in preparation; proper temperature, cleanliness etc. Reading this article brings great concern, is it possible that I am putting my family in danger? What is Texas Parks and wildlife saying? Are there any other studies being done? I want more info.

Summary: I grew up just outsode of Corpus in odem and there are some real nice areas around there for country living, then there is Callalen with great schools on hwy 624, but if that was me moving to the area I would recomend the Orange Grove, Sandia area near the lake, there is the best whitewing dove hunting, plentyfull wildlife, deer hogs and better get your fishing gear ready because Corpus has some of the best fishing in Texas, i recomend investing in a boat, i dont mind showing you all the fishing spots also. The area off hwy 359 outside of Alice TX or Kingsville area is another small country living area with nice ranch property. i think once you move to the area if your a big sportsmen, take advantage of all the hunting from Dove, Duck, Quail, Turkey, Deer, Hogs, geese, Crane, exotics, it's a sportsmen paradise down here!!!

Summary: Do not even say that unless you are sure. If you are sure Take the remains to the nearest tpw office for confirmation. Its a serious deal and can be extremely harmful to wildlife and Livestock. Deer are prone to nasal bots that affect the nasal cavity and throat area. If the worms were in the neck burrowed in from the outside that could be screw worms. Please do a Double Check

Summary: That is a great story and a nice pig for the freezer, it muse feel good to be able to walk outside of your own house and see wildlife like that, I have to drive four hours to get to our hunting locations and maybe spend a max of 5-10 days at the ranch hunting, I would appreciate a nice place like that to hunt at near home!!!

Summary: That's crazy!! I have no love for these mangy jokers!!! As soon as deer season is over i'm gonna try my luck at some calling to try and thin some out on our place. We generally shoot any we see while we are hunting anyway. After reading the tracking collar study on deer fatalities that was on this site, I was kind of shocked at the number of mature bucks that get killed by coyotes. I guess it shouldn't shock me though, because I saw a show on National Geographic about the Yellowstone wolf packs, and they had several parts of the film where wolves ran down and killed nice, big, fat and obviously healthy bull elk!! Comparing the sizes, coyoes to deer and wolves to elk, I guess it makes no difference when their tactics are the same. They run them into the ground and get them weak and then pounce them!
It does seem ridiculous that the folks who should be taking care of the "problem" wildlife tell you to get along with them because you took their habitat from them when you built your house. It is no secret that coyotes are one of the most common critters to carry rabies and you would think one roaming around close to humans with no concern that it is close to humans might raise a flag with animal control people. Oh well..............I guess thats the price you pay to live in suburbia!!!!!!! CB Shorts aint that loud though!!

Summary: I have had good luck with the wildlife inovations timers and motors. For the price you can hardly go wrong. I would recomend you get the digital timers. The other thing that I have found out about feeders is the battery. Get a good rechargable battery and a solar panel charger. That makes a world of difference on the performance of your feeder.
