Got this via email from a rancher friend.

These pictures were taken July 7 by a cowboy looking for strays.  For you folks that are not educated on rattlesnakes, this generally only happens in the spring when they come out of the den and the weather is warm enough for them to sun.  The cowboy thinks the drought is so bad in West Texas that they are not going far from the den and returning daily

While on a trip to West Virginia last week it started snowing and the deer came out to feed.  All these pictures were taken on one, 6 mile stretch of road over 2 days.

Now you know where your money goes when you buy jerky and kolaches at Prasek's Smokehouse (Hillje, TX)......protein feed for deer!!! Killed last week by Mike on his ranch in George West.

South of San Angelo

Now that's God's country there!

This was just south of the Wyoming-Montana border, about 35 NNW of Cody, WY and 50-60 miles east of Yellowstone National Park.  The picture was taken immediately west of US 212. 

If you ever get a chance to go this area is literally breathtaking.  I have a video posted of Dead Indian pass which is about midway between Cody and Beartooth pass.  I hear the elk and mule deer hunting is outstanding.

Hyner Vista, West branch of the Susquehanna River

Pretty rough country, kinda reminds me of western Pecos County.  If so, I didn't know they were that far out west.
