Summary: | I can't tell much from the photo, but he is a nice looking deer. looks to be about 18-19 inches wide maybe a little more. Question is about how old is he going to be? Nice deer though. There are some very nice deer in west texas you just have to let them grow.

Summary: | Nice deer, they are diffently in the rut out in West Texas. I have a friend who is hunting near Colorado City and last weekend he took a 14 pointer that green scored 159". It would have been a 15 except he had one point broken off. His 14 yr old son took an 8 pointer that scored 147" and passed on a 9 point that they estimated at 150+. Billy told me he desided not to let his 14 yr old take the 9 point for two reasons, first he allready had one at 147 and this would help to teach his son to learn to let them grow. I personally think Billy did not want his son to have more high scoring deer than he has. Billy said that the deer they saw were all chasin does.

Summary: | I am from San Angelo, There are and have been in the past 40 odd yrs, some very fine bucks in this area. I also hunt west of town, and the deer are in fine shape. I have seen one buck that would go in the upper 150-160's. Best buck I have seen in a few years. But I have seen deer that would out score him by far. Don't underestimate the deer in this area. There are bucks in this area that will give south Texas a run for it's money. By the way, that is a fine buck, great kill congt's.

Summary: I take it that the snake is alive. I'm from west Texas and the only time that I want to see a snake is when he is on the business end of my skatter gun.
