Bear Creek Trophies provides a combination of high and low fenced areas that are managed by a wildlife biologist. We have over 30 acres of summer and winter foodplots planted. Bear Creek Trophies is located near Jefferson, Texas in Marion and Cass Counties. We are conveniently located to I-20 and I-30, so if you're coming from Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi or Alabama, by stopping here rather than driving to south or west Texas, you are gaining 1 1/2 to 2 days of hunting time. We are only an hour drive from Shreveport Regional airport (SHV) which offers full jet service. Airport pick up and drop off can be included in your hunt.

Summary:

First and foremost: We are a Hunt Club. We are not a guide service, and we share costs such as lease, protein feed, camp improvements, deer blinds, brush trimming etc.

We love the land the Lord created "West of the Pecos River." We love to hunt trophy mule deer, white tail, turkey, javelina, and bobcats.

We also practice management for future generations.

Each year, rifle season lasts for approximately two months. With this in mind, we suggest that you plan and book all hunting trips in advance. When hunting, each hunter receives about 1,000 acres (per hunter/leasee) for a full-range of exciting activities. During hunting, spouses and dependents (e.g. children) are allowed to be at the hunter's side, although rules and regulations must be followed. Hunting activities are also available for either individuals or groups, based on hunting needs.

  • Follow all rules and guidelines set for by Texas Parks and Wildlife
  • Follow all State and Federal Laws
  • Respect our Fellowman ( rancher, game warden, law enforcement, hunter) WhiteTail- Season Only (approx November 1- January 1)

Mule Deer- 16 Day Season (approx November 25- Mid December).

Turkey/Javelina/Bobcats/Coyotes - same as WhiteTail season.

Snakes - Take all the rattlers you want.

Dove and Quail are optional on some of the leases (Future bird hunting may or may not remain an option).

Spring Turkey is restricted to a few lease areas at an additional cost and limited number of hunters----2006 was the first time we have ever allowed spring turkey.

Starting in 2005 we offered a limited and very successful trophy pronghorn antelope hunt. Our 100% hunter success resulted in an average score that exceeded 80 B&C inches with one exceptional buck making "book" at 84 2/8 inches! mesquite and pecan trees. It is 2.5 hours southwest of Dallas-Ft. Worth and an hour west of Waco.


The Ranch is under an intense game management program which consists of year round feeding using protein pellets and high protein food plots. Hunting for Trophy Whitetails is our specialty although we also offer trophy exotic game hunts. 2 to 5 day packages are available for Archery & Rifle.


We use rattling and a variety of blinds near food plots and automatic feeders. You may choose to have your hunt fully

There will be a couple of different ranches we will be hunting due to the client’s individual experience, preferences and
