Some species of animals are shot only in specific seasons and those are the native Texas species. Game with a set hunting season includes Whitetail bucks, does and Rio Grande Tom Turkeys. You will find a warm comfortable bed and all the amenities of home including a washer and dryer. We have a two bedroom cabin with a full bath and full kitchen, and a single bedroom cabin with a full bath, microwave and mini-fridge. You will hunt from  box stand, tripod or a ladder stand and ground blinds. Most of our locations have both, a box and tripod are ladder stand and ground blinds as to serve both gun and bow hunters. We offer two rustic cabins that sleeps 2-5 hunters each.They have running water and an kitchenettes with everything you need  for cooking.  They has  indoor toilet and we have added a bath house. The cabins are heated by a wood heaters and the lights come from a generator. You'll need to bring a sleeping bag, food and drinks and a cooler and ice for your cold foods.  We are 16 miles from the nearest store and 30 miles from the nearest Wal-Mart.  We have a BBQ pit for outside cooking.

Hello, this is Captain Terry. I would like to tell you a little about the hunting and fishing on our ranch located along Coleto Creek.

The ranch is located in DeWitt county, about 25 miles west of Victoria, 20 miles north of Goliad, 20 miles south of Cuero, and 15 miles east of Yorktown. Most of the 1300-acre ranch has been in the family for over 100 years.

Coleto Creek is a continuously flowing creek which runs through the middle of the ranch. It is a clear water creek full of Bass and Catfish. The creek attracts all kinds of wildlife---deer, trukey, hog, squrrel, dove, along with all sorts of predators such as bobcats, coyotes, and fox.

We are very secluded with little traffic noise, located away from major highways. If you are looking for peace and quite, we are your destination. We also have four stock tanks, one which covers over 5 acres when full. These stock tanks also attract much wildlife.

Very little hunting is done by our neighbors to the east and south, and no hunting to the north and west.

We have two cabins available for overnight guests. One is just right for two people. With a full-size bed and a single rollaway bed; including a kitchen, shower, picnic table and grill. The other cabin sleeps 13 comfortably. It also includes full bathroom, kitchen, grill, and tables, with the lodge only steps away. Grill and table provided.

Hunting lodge is 600 sq. ft. with cedar walls, tile floors, restroom, television and pool table which is accessible to all hunters.
