WSI - Kennedy Ranch
Summary: WSI has a mule deer season lease available near Fort Stockton. The 68,000 acre Kennedy Ranch is located some 20 miles west of Fort Stockton and is available for a group of 8 hunters. We are not interested in selling individual spots, but only interested in making arrangements with one group for the whole deal. Hunters will have access during the entire 16 day mule deer season and will be allowed to each harvest one mature mule deer buck.

No housing is available but there is a campsite that provides electric and water, or hotel arrangements are available 20 minutes away. Terrain is flat to undulating hills with flora typical of the Chihuahuan Desert which lies in this region.

We are interested in a group of conservation minded hunters who would like to help manage this herd through selective harvest. We would also like to encourage a feeding program. This is a great opportunity for a group who enjoys plenty of breathing space and a chance to hunt quality desert mule deer. Price is $2,700 per gun, but remember, we want one group to take all 8 spots.

Summary:

The ranch is located just south of Iraan off of I10 in the rugged terrain of West Texas.   We have produced both trophy mule deer and whitetail and we are currently enrolled in the MLD program to manage our heard.  We are looking for a small group of six that is interested in a combo mule deer and whitetail lease.  If you want the chance a both a mule deer and whitetail trophy this is the lease for you.

Summary:

First and foremost: We are a Hunt Club. We are not a guide service, and we share costs such as lease, protein feed, camp improvements, deer blinds, brush trimming etc.

We love the land the Lord created "West of the Pecos River." We love to hunt trophy mule deer, white tail, turkey, javelina, and bobcats.

We also practice management for future generations.

Each year, rifle season lasts for approximately two months. With this in mind, we suggest that you plan and book all hunting trips in advance. When hunting, each hunter receives about 1,000 acres (per hunter/leasee) for a full-range of exciting activities. During hunting, spouses and dependents (e.g. children) are allowed to be at the hunter's side, although rules and regulations must be followed. Hunting activities are also available for either individuals or groups, based on hunting needs.

  • Follow all rules and guidelines set for by Texas Parks and Wildlife
  • Follow all State and Federal Laws
  • Respect our Fellowman ( rancher, game warden, law enforcement, hunter) WhiteTail- Season Only (approx November 1- January 1)

Mule Deer- 16 Day Season (approx November 25- Mid December).

Turkey/Javelina/Bobcats/Coyotes - same as WhiteTail season.

Snakes - Take all the rattlers you want.

Dove and Quail are optional on some of the leases (Future bird hunting may or may not remain an option).

Spring Turkey is restricted to a few lease areas at an additional cost and limited number of hunters----2006 was the first time we have ever allowed spring turkey.

This property is located 10 miles West of Sheffield, TX in Pecos County.  The ranch has not been leased to hunters for the past 2 year.  Our family has only taken 2 trophy bucks and only management deer in this period.  We harvested a 150 class whitetail and mule deer in 2007.   I am looking for management minded hunters wanting the best of what West Texas has to offer.  The lease is available for whitetail and/or mule deer.  No lodging is available but camping sites are provided.

Large west Tx, ranch situated in the Trans-Pecos. Ranch is located 45 miles SE of Ft. Stockton. A very nice lodge with satellite TV, all the comforts of home. A large walk in cooler and ranch transportation. 4,000 acres is under strict high fence mgt., the remaiing 32,000 acres is under low fence. Protein feeders through out the low fence and high fence, with comfortable blinds over looking feeders. Vast variety of game with a large population of both mule deer and whitetails. Javelina, turkey, dove, quail, feral goats, rabbitts am exotics. Different packages for all hunters. Rifle, bow, muzzleloader ect all welcome.

Summary: Didn't get to hunt this year for Spring Turkey? Come hunt the Rios with us. This large west TX ranch has tons of big gobblers. It has not been commercially hunted for Turkey. This is a great place to come bag your first Turkey. This all inclusive hunt provides meals, lodge, game care ect. I have the decoys, calls ect. Just bring your camo and your shotgun/bow. This hunt is for one person @$450.00, for one Tom. Min. of 2 hunters, max of 4. All weekends open until the end of Spring turkey closing.

Summary: LSTO, for the first time offering Spring turkey and Javelina hunts. Ranch has never been commercially hunted for either species. 36,000 acres of west Tx ranch land. We are taking only 20 gobblers this year, for a total of 10 hunters. For javelina, we are taking 12 hunters for 2 Javelinas, per person. Lodge on site, with walk in cooler, ect. Hunts are semi-guided, and all meals provided. We are also booking deer hunts for the 2007-2008 season. Combo hunts, whitetail only, doe hunts, cull hunts are being booked at this time.
