Summary: Full Day Charter (8 hours) $500 1-3 people $50 each additional person. ----- Half Day Charter (4 hours) $400 1-3 people $50 each additional person. ----- We specialize in wading and drifting with artificial lures; however, if you prefer to fish with live bait, we can accommodate you. Our primary fishing venues are East Matagorda Bay, West Matagorda Bay and the contingent beachfront; if you would like to fish other bay systems in Texas, we can do that too. No group is too large or too small. We can accommodate multi-boat charters and customize a fishing plan for you. To maximize your day, tell us what you want out of the trip so we can tailor the day to your needs. Tackle is available, though we encourage you to bring your own. We have found anglers are more comfortable using their own equipment; and, a comfortable and happy angler usually catches more fish. ----- We fish out of first-class vessels - Pathfinders powered by Yamaha outboards. If you are considering a new boat, call for a test ride - free of charge. You will see when riding in a Pathfinder - there is a difference!

Ozzie has lived in Bay City all his life, and he started fishing when he was 7. At that time, you admired a man that had a boat with a 70 horsepower motor. As he grew up, Ozzie spent as many weekends fishing in Matagorda as possible.  Ozzie bought his first boat in 1977 and has been fishing East and West Matagorda Bay ever since. He shrimped commercially in the late 70's  and early 80's, and has oystered East and West Matagorda Bay for 30 years.

"The Pelican"
Ozzie's friends gave him the nickname "Pelican" because he always catches fish when no one else can. Ozzie knows where the fish will be feeding, what bait works best, and when the fish will be biting.  Ozzie has lived up to the name Pelican.

Ozzie enjoys teaching anyone who wants to learn how to fish. He has extensive knowledge of the bay system and 44 years of fishing experience.  Articles about Ozzie have been published in Texas Parks and Wildlife and Heartland Magazine.  Ozzie has shared his fishing experience with people from all over the United States, and looks forward fishing with you.
