Search Results:Paloma Blanca RanchSummary: Paloma Blanca Ranch is located in the heart of the Hill Country, just 20 miles west of Kerrville, 25 miles west of Fredericksburg and 5 miles west of Harper. It consists of 450 acres, high fenced and the terrain is rolling hills covered with various hardwoods.
The entire ranch is accessible with truck and four wheeler and the ranch entrance is on a state highway. We have water wells that supply water to the entire ranch via underground piping to water troughs.
At the ranch we raise Registered Texas Longhorns and various other exotics and whitetail deer. The Longhorns are our pride and joy but the exotics and whitetail are our passion.
We are striving everyday to improve our herd of axis, blackbuck, mouflon sheep and whitetail deer to make them meet the highest trophy standards of the Hill Country. Our Mouflon sheep are abundant and their horn size are second to none. Our animals are available for hunting or for purchase to breeders or other ranches. Pricing of the animals are competitive.

Bar E RanchSummary: Bar E Ranch is a 700 acre bowhunting-only ranch located 45 miles west of San Antonio, near Hondo, Texas, where the south Texas Brush Country meets the Hill Country. The ranch has a perimeter game-proof fence and is stocked with a variety of exotics that will be challenging and exciting to hunt. There is a large population of native wild hogs and the ranch has been stocked with South Texas Whitetail deer which are very abundant in this area. There are no livestock on the ranch competing with the wildlife or to get in your way during an important stalk. Hunting for hogs and exotics is available year round and in season on whitetail deer. The ranch is strictly managed and supplemental feed is available year round. Water sources are abundant. The ranch is stocked with enough game to attract and satisfy hunters of all levels of skill.

Lodging facilities consist of a bunkhouse that sleeps 8 hunters. The beds are twin beds. There is an adjoining kitchen facility with all modern appliances and a covered outdoor patio area. A BBQ pit and wood are also available. The second cabin is a guest house suitable for a family, smaller hunting parties or the hunter that may want to bring guests. All units have central air and heat and when you are not hunting you can relax and watch Direct TV. Lodging facilities are included in the hunt cost. Non-hunting guests are welcome for a $25/day fee. Hunters need to bring their bow, furnish all food items, meals, bed linens and towels. We also have a Walk-In cooler, a commercial ice-making machine, and a lighted skinning area.
We provide a variety of packages to try and give you the option to hunt what you want to hunt. There are NO TROPHY FEES on any of the exotics taken during our package hunts. Whether you take a small exotic buck or a huge one, there are no trophy fees.
Hunting Packages
Prices Effective through December 31st, 2006
WILD BOAR - $75 per day, 2 day minimum. Limit of 2 hogs. Night hunting allowed.
SHEEP & WILD BOAR - $175 per day, 2 day minimum. Limit 1 sheep and 2 hogs. (choose from Corsican, Texas Dall, Barbado, Black Hawaiian, Painted Desert, Mixed, Catalina goats)
EXOTIC & WILD BOAR - $250 per day, 2 day minimum. Limit 1 exotic and 2 hogs. (choose from Blackbuck, Aoudad, Fallow Deer, Sika Deer, Axis Deer)
TEXAS PACKAGE - $225 per day, 4 day minimum. During this 4 day safari you will be allowed to take 4 animals, including: 2 hogs, 1 Blackbuck, Aoudad, Axis or Fallow Deer, plus 1 Sheep/Ram (Corsican, Black Hawaiian, or mixed)
WHITETAIL DEER & WILD BOAR - $250 per day, 2 day minimum. Limit 1 buck and 2 hogs. All Whitetail bucks must have 8 or more points.
2006 WHITETAIL DEER & EXOTIC - $1200.00 - This is a 4 day hunt that allows you to harvest 1 Whitetail buck - eight (8) points or better, 1 Exotic (Blackbuck, Axis, Aoudad, Sika or Fallow Deer) and 2 Wild Boar.
RED STAG DEER HUNT PACKAGES AVAILABLE
RED STAG HUNT - $1500.00 - This is a 2 day hunt that allows you to harvest 1 Red Stag and 2 Wild Boar.
RED STAG/EXOTIC PACKAGE - $2000.00 - This is a 4 day hunt that allows you to harvest 1 Red Stag, 1 Exotic and 1 Wild Boar.
BISON (BUFFALO) PACKAGE - $1250.00 - This is a 2 day hunt that allows you to harvest 1 Bison, and 2 Wild Hogs.
Cowden RanchSummary: If you love to hunt, you will love Cowden Ranch, Kerr County Texas. Plentiful Game, Exotics hunted year round, fair & honest treatment. Come and relax, while experiencing free roaming hunting of whitetail and exotics on 2000 acres in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Game available include: Whitetail, Axis, Fallow, Sika, Blackbuck Antelope, Corsican Rams, Texas Dall Sheep, Black Hawaiian Sheep, Mouflan type Sheep, and Catalina Goat. You may camp, or use your own self-contained RV. From IH-10, exit 456 to Mt. Home, traveling west for 21 miles to Hwy 83 & Garvin Store. Turn North towards Junction for 3 miles and the ranch is on the right side of Hwy 83. Hunting packages include two for three weekends and one for only one weekend. Call for more information.
