We got the fish certified at 244.5 lbs, a pending Rayburn record!  She was 8'2" and had a 44.75" girth.

Harvest my second buck for the season...third  to the last day of our hunting season...just as i was giving up on the day...he jump the fence following a smaller 8pter...i gave him time to get closer...107yds was close enought for me...i took the shot and drop him on the spot...I just dont know how to download the video...so i can share it with everybody...

The photographer is Garry Wheeler and the pictures were taken over Lake Tapps, in Washington State. There is a video posted online on KOMO 4 TV, dated 2-16-2009. The comments seem to editorialize the eagles' activities, though. The video does not show them fighting.

The eagle also struggles a bit in the water, but flies away in a clean flight with the duck in his talons.

I don't think anyone is 'freaking out' about the picture, but the point is a good one.  An increasingly urbanized society is fast losing its ability to comprehend, or identify with, what often happens in the death of a wild animal (or even a domestic one for that matter).  That's why organizations like PETA, WWF, and HSUS are gaining such a following, and a bank account. 

Nobody here wants to rain on another hunter's parade as long as what they do is  legal and ethical.  But, like LSDude said we also don't want to give an 'anti' ammunition to help infringe upon our hunting rights either.  Boards like this are exactly where they look too  - I've seen too many video or forum entries to think otherwise.

Pics are nice, but I want to see some video of these hunts.  Are you going to post any hunting clips?  I saw your clip of the scary sendaro and that was unbelievable!  How large is your ranch and how much to hunt a trophy?  Maybe one day I can take a once in a life time trip to hunt your ranch.  It's always been a dream of mine to come hunt texas.
