Ron posted this above: While we're posting a wish list, how about one for pics and/or stories for hunts outside of Texas since there are many of us that take trips every year. It would be great to show events/places outside of Texas that took place during a hunting trip. ------ In response to that I would like to bring to your attention that TexasHuntFish.com welcomes photos, videos and stories of Texans hunting around the world. If you go on a trip, please feel free to share it with us. For example, members have shown photos from National Parks in the USA, even as far as Africa. We just want a direct connection to Texas - either because it was in Texas or because you are from Texas and want to share something with our community.
Henry Repeating Arms...
Summary:
I bought the little survival .22 and love it. It is wonderful to teach my children gun safety. It is very accurate for varmints around the house and very quiet when shooting a CB .22 It is great for a camping/canoe trip and is lighter and smaller than my fishing pole. I also like the standard safety and the pull-back pin which adds a second level of safety with children. "Almost Live Report" Texas Trophy Hunters Association (TTHA) Houston Show
Summary:
Ok – I am done for the first day. I have been typing for four hours trying to tell the story of spending four hours at the show. Interesting, it has taken me as long to tell the story as to experience the story. Thus, tomorrow night, there will be no story because I will be attending her 20th Reunion Party. I will probably upload a bunch of photos on Sunday but with not as much commentary. The last company to talk about tonight is Quadzilla. Awesome! Stan Waddell, Monster Sales Manager sold me like a child on buying one of their Performance Chips for the Hummer H2. It is his birthday and he told me he had to sell something to someone to justify his trip down to I decided to splurge on the special discount show pricing (what a sucker I am) with the logic that when I see these guys in two weeks at the DFW show if my gas mileage and other “benefits” are not experienced, I will write a horrible product review and they will say sorry and give me back my money. J Happy Birthday! Mr. Waddell demonstrated the excellent Customer Service of Quadzilla by walking outside the show and installing this sweet little device on the Hummer in the parking lot. How much longer in velvet?Summary: I took this photo at the TTHA DFW show this weekend. I haven't finished writing up the trip but thought I would share this photo. Apparently this deer has already sold for $18K to a hunter for this season. The photo was taken in the last couple of weeks I was told by the Owner. It appears to score over 190 so far he said.
