The 2012 season has begun! Big sacks, huge kickers and humungous paybacks as Bass Champs kicked off with the South Region January 14th on Lake Falcon. Nine double digit bass, four sacks over 40 pounds, and more than $58,000 paid back to participants. Jaime Buitron and Terry Oldham won over $20,000 with their 1st place win.

The plan was simple and the execution was clean at the finale Bass Champs Championship on Lake Falcon October 8-9. There could not have been a bigger nor better grand finale than what was seen in both the sacks brought in and individual bass caught.

Big wins, come-from-behind finishes, humungous payouts at the 2011 Skeeter Bass Champs North Region Championship on Cedar Creek September 17-18. Bill Wilcox and Hugo Velasco took the win and was awarded the Grand Prize Skeeter ZX20 powered by Yamaha SHO 225 and even more sponsor bonuses!

Jackpotting takes on a whole new meaning as Vann Branch and Richard Davis fish their first tournament in over 15 years and win big! Two sacks over 40 lbs, lots of double digit kickers and huge paybacks for Bass Champs South Region teams.

Bass Champs South Region anglers shot right out of the box gettin’ jiggy for the first event of the 2011 season. Sixteen teams weighed in over 20 pounds, Alton Jones Jr and David Ridley III blew them all away with well over 30! Several double digit big bass were seen and nearly $60,000 was paid back in cash and prizes.

The 2011 season is upon us.  This weekend Bass Champs will begin it's 13th tournament season on Lake Amistad, in Del Rio, TX. 

Bass Champs North & South Regions held their Championship on neutral waters at Toledo Bend October 9 & 10, 2010. For most of the field, weights were stacked tight with amazing recoveries on day two, but Lee Yowell & Brian Schott were untouchable, taking the $35,000 win with a one-two punch.

Coming in with a strong sack of 27.72 lbs, Spike Stoker and Justin Stone blew away the competition by more than a five pound margin to win over $20,000 at Choke Canyon May 22, 2010. Well over $43,000 was paid back in 21 places representing a 104% return for the anglers.

Choke Canyon set the scene for the South Region of Bass Champs event #4 on May 1, 2010. The wind came from every direction throughout the day keeping every team on the move. Scott Smoot and David Meyer used this to their advantage to win over $20,000.
