The first wild hog in this hog hunting video is an absolute BEAST.  It took me a second of looking at it under the feeder to realize it wasn't a cow!  Anyway, some really great video of a couple of Crowell, Texas hunters trying to take him down while what sounds like grandfather narrating from a somewhat safe distance. (the pig starts to run toward him a bit and they continue to take shots!!)

Great bunch of turkey hunting shots including some even better turkey fights.  I didn't get out there this season.  How bout ya'll? How'd your gobbler hunting go?

Good video work, the lighted nocks have been one of the best things that have come along in archery in a long time. There were a couple of shots that weren't perfect shot angles but hey nobody's perfect and for the most part I give two thumbs up.

This is one of the more obvious head shots from a 300 mag.

640 kids between the ages of 8 and 18, with families and friends watching, competed in several sports, including International Skeet, American Skeet and Trap. Biased by my 6th generation connection to Houston County, I was also there to cheer for my cousins, Katelyn and John Lenderman.

There are for divisions:
Junior (ages 8-11)
Intermediate (ages 12-13)
Seniors 1 (ages 14-15)
Seniors 2 (ages 16-18)

The day we arrived, my cousin Katelynn won 1st Place, International Skeet, Seniors 2 Division. Last year she came home with 5 2nd Place trophies and this year she had one goal - win 1st Place in something. Mission accomplished.

For those that do not know, (including me) I was told that International Skeet is an Olympic Sport. It differs from American Skeet in several ways:

The clay targets (called pigeons or birds) travel much faster than American Skeet (I don't know how fast but it was hard to see them fly by).

The clay targets are launched at random angles and at random elevation, where as American is not random. (Anyone who knows better should feel free to comment!)

My understanding of American Skeet is that they shoot 25 shots from the "high house" and "low house" from 8 different positions called stations.

Seniors 1 and 2 shoot a total of 100 shots and highest score wins. The other divisions shoot 75 shots. Ties are broke by a "sudden death" shoot off where the first person to miss looses.

Friend of ours made this video of his hunts. To say he loves to hunt is an understatement . I thought I was in the field alot. GOOD SHOTS

Little bit of Javelina hunting with a bow and a few shots at some West Texas Mule deer during this hunt.  Quite a few misses during this hunt but I guess it's sorta refreshing to see the missed shot not taken out of the video.
