Summary:

What grain bullet do y'all like to use in the .44 Mag for Hogs?   and regular hunting?

Beautiful Gun - .308 - Target/Varmint/Serious Hunting Rifle

Beautiful Gun - .308 - Target/Varmint/Serious Hunting Rifle
Summary:

Jason,

That is some serious toys and shooting.

I would like to take back all the things I've said about you on your forum.

I want to be your friend, not foe.  : )

Help me learn how to hunt hogs!

Summary:

Nice toys!  I would enjoy setting down and shooting a few rounds at the at distance.  That would be a first for me.

I would also like to fire 30 rounds through a auto rifle.

TXMike, thanks for sharing  and Jason thanks for the pic inserts.

optronics light

Summary:

Perry, welcome to the forum.

Is this the type of light that Academy sells, that bolts onto the top of the scope for night shooting?  I have always been interested in one, but just never purchased one.

Dove enchilada ...Try it you will love it

Summary:

Joshua,  Nearly and Yes!

I did see only a few birds that were flying high or far, so I shot at what ever came along....only about half a box of shells.   A shooting lesson would not hurt either.

Sportsmanship for dove hunting

Summary:

Hillcountryrambler,   Welcome to the forum and we are glad to have you.

Quote:  "I thought the rules of sportsmanship decreed that you were to give the dove a "sporting" chance by being in the air before shooting."

Your are correct.  It is against the law to shoot a game bird, except Turkey, that are not in the air.   I would be looking for another "Guy" to hang with before this one gets you in to trouble.  If you can't trust him to follow the simplest rules than you sure can't trust to to follow the more difficult ones.
