There might be some hogs between Sweetwater and Blackwell (there definitely are once you get north of Sweetwater around Rotan).  I hunted around Blackwell one season about 10-12 years ago and didn't see any.  But, pigs have spread a lot since then and they may be in there by now.

You're probably out of them by the time you get around Stanton.

Looking to book a boar / feral pig hunt for free if possible. From what I understand these are considered nusiance animals. Call me the cleaner:) I would like to find a ranch/farm who wants some pigs hunted down. Not sure about season, fees for license or anything else but if you don't mind, I'll grab a few respectful, responsible pals and we'll take them off your land/hands.

Good luck, we had already been trying diseal corn, corn mixed with beer to get sour, and bread etc... The best thing that had been working was our hog pipe we set up in the sendero, but it would only get hit once or twice a month, then we tried the flour, it worked!!! Now that deer season is over we are going to focus primarily on hog hunting and trying to shoot a huge boar that is roaming our plcae and is estimated to weigh between 400 to 500 lbs, but is very smart and only comes out early in the am or during the night.

You would think the rain would help stimulate the wildlife activity, but clearly there has been a downfall on production at least at our locations.  I absolutely prefer pork over Venison, I guess all these years it had been so easy to harvest enough vension to last all year, and now that the porkers began showing up at the feeders, it looked like that would have been the preferred game animal, but now there is nothing, no piggies or deer, just coons!!!  Well, there is always next year and hopefully during the off season if we keep feeding corn the pigs will come back!!!
