Crossbow Hog Hunt

Crossbow Hog Hunt
Summary:

Texas hunter takes care of business with his Barnett Jackal Crossbow.

Great night of hunting. The first group of hogs came in and I could not click my crossbow off of safety. Come to realize after I spooked the hogs that I didn't have the bolt all the in and set. After the hogs scattered from my noise the coon and deer started feeding.

The coon was only 12 yards away and his night vision scope was set at 25 yards. He missed.

Lastly, the last group of 9 hogs came into feed. Waited and waited and finally Nailed him.

Video of Dove using Elcan Scope at 16.5x Zoom about 70 yards away

Video of Dove using Elcan Scope at 16.5x Zoom about 70 yards away
Summary:

16.5x Zoom Video of Dove using Elcan Scope.

The purpose of this video is obviously not to suggest shooting a dove with a rifle, but rather just showing how on a deer hunt, you might use the scope to photograph or video other animals you encounter. If you back off to 9x or 11x Zoom, the image quality improves greatly. A dove is a small video target at 70 yards, but imagine a coyote, fox or a management buck.
