Summary:
Our Medina County ranch is in the transition zone between South Texas and the Hill Country. Parts of the ranch look just like South Texas, although we do have a few large oaks and cedars and we are also blessed with rolling hills and deep brushy draws. Our hunters have a choice of lodging in the guest rooms at our home or staying in our bunkhouse which offers a deer lease like atmosphere complete with AC, heater, BBQ pit and camp fire ring. On this type hunt you just bring your own food and drinks. Our other ranch is located in Dimmit county in the heart of the famous Golden Triangle area of South Texas where many of the famous high scoring net book heads have come from in years past. It's the red sand country as some call it. We have a beautiful New Mexico Adobe style lodge there, built under a 60’ by 124’ hanger type structure. The rooms have everything you may need, including huge 4’x 4’ ceramic tile showers, private satellite television reception, fax machine, e-mail and private phone. This ranch regularly produces 150 to 180 class B & C whitetail and even a few over 190 to 200 gross B & C. The atmosphere in this part of Texas is quite different. Sightings of wild hog, coyotes, bobcat, and bobwhite quail, and of course, BIG DEER make your hunt here a unique South Texas experience. This ranch is also high fenced and under an extensive yearly management program. We hunt from deer blinds and each hunter is guided. During your stay our guides take very good care of you. We take care of everything from field dressing your deer to skinning, quartering and packing your meat in ice chests.

Summary:
Santa Anna Hunting Area (SAHA) is a family run quality hunting preserve dedicated to give a hunting experience unrivaled in Texas and the great southwest. Santa Ana Hunting AreaSummary:
Santa Anna Hunting Area (SAHA) is a family run hunting preserve. Gerry and Eldena Stearns run the day to day operations on the section size preserve (600 plus acres) which include: Pheasant, Chuckar and Quail hunts. John R. Stearns started Santa Anna Hunting Area in 1986. He realized then that hunting was becoming less and less accessible and that hunting has never been free. The days of the knock on the door "Can I hunt" and the "cheap hunting lease" are gone. All hunts include: dogs, dog handlers, bird cleaning, packaging and ice. All you'll need is to bring is an ice chest, plenty of shot-shells and a shotgun. Wish to bring your own dog? We have birds. Call for details. Triple H Ranch
Summary:
Welcome to Triple H Ranch. We founded the ranch to provide a great bird hunting experience for you the hunter. My name is Pat Horn and I'm the owner and I'll be your guide and host. I began hunting with my dad many years ago in the rice fields around Katy, Texas for ducks and geese. Since that time I've had the good fortune to hunt most game animals all over the great state of Texas and numerous other locations all the way to South Africa. But, I always came back to hunt in Texas where I was fortunate enough to introduce my children to what I am most passionate about--upland bird hunting (pheasant, chukar and quail). Over the years, I've found the thing I enjoy almost as much as downing a bird is watching the field work of an excellent bird dog. And we have two of the best Brittany's found anywhere--Jack and Maggie. I've raised our dogs from pups and spent countless hours in training them, so they can do what they were born to do, find the bird for you. But it's not enough to have great dogs and a capable guide you have to provide the right habitat for the birds. With that in mind, we met with farmers, wildlife biologists and seed mills to develop the best possible habitat. We planted a combination of five different grasses (our secret recipe) to increase our native population of quail and to provide food and cover for our released pheasant and chukar. Once we raised and trained our dogs and provided the best possible habitat we recognized that we needed birds that are as close to wild as possible. So again, we talked with countless people until we found the birds that would be the closest to wild and contracted with only those suppliers. Finally, we have set out to insure that you have the best possible hunting experience by providing the best in customer service. So whether it's providing you a bottle of ice cold water on a hot day or a cup of coffee on a cold day, or loaning you a few extra shells when you've run out, or providing you a ride in our Yamaha Rhino because your leg is hurting, we want you and your buddies to have a great time. As you might gather this isn't just a job for us at the Triple H Ranch, it's a passion! Rancho Trinidad
