Summary:
The Texas Panhandle offers excellent quail habitat and some of the best quail hunting in the state of Texas. We have had excellent rains in the spring and early summer so we are expecting great numbers of quail this year. On our 3-day guided quail hunt you will see between 12 and 20 coveys per day. We have more than 200,000 acres of prime quail habitat which enables us to rotate fields throughout the season. You will hunt behind trained English Pointers and Brittany Spaniels in the field. The majority of the quail hunt will be spent walking in the fields - so we recommend being in top physical shape for your hunt, and we can also customize your hunt to allow hunting from ATV's or Jeeps to fit the physical needs of each hunter. Quail Hunts
Summary:
Haskell County and the surrounding counties have some the highest populations of WILD Bobwhite Quail. The quail hunt is a half day hunt with dogs. The hunters have the opportunity to ride on ATV “Mules” or walk behind the dogs. We like to have a minimum of 3 hunters or parties of 3 if riding. Quail Hunts
Summary:
The Collinsworth County area has always been know for its outstanding quail hunting. The ranch is no exception and historically has been host to a large population of bobwhite quail. With the ranch ranging from open grass, heavy shinnery, sage and stands of oak, the birds are provided with ample natural cover. In addition feed is provided through the use of quail feeders during the difficult months in order to insure a viable breeding stock for the spring. Hunting is not done over any feeder as they are provided only to assist the birds on the ranch when times get tough. 587 results found Next Page >Showing results 1 through 10
