BASS announced Tuesday that Cabela's, the World's Foremost Outfitter® of hunting, fishing and outdoor gear, renewed its sponsorship of the successful Bassmaster CastingKids program, which was developed in 1991 to introduce children to the sport of bass fishing.

In acknowledgement of over three decades of exceptional conservation efforts and fishing achievements, Capt. Joan Vernon will be inducted into the 2009 Big Game Room Hall of Fame, Thursday, February 12, at 5 p.m., at the Miami International Boat Show.
