Search Results:Wild Hog HuntSummary:
I hunted the same ranch its not what I expected eather. I hunted in Gonzales I went on a day hog hunt and the details I was given for the hunt was very shady I do not recomend this guide service to anyone. I did kill my hog it is a high fenced area the animals seem to be more like pets. I actually petted one of the deer how lame to be an outfitter and have a petting zoo for a pigshoot. One of the guys there brought me back to what he called a hot spot where the hogs were i will day it was a hot spot. about 15 shotes ran across the road in front of us and when he stopped the jeep i sware i heard a gate shut like the pigs were released out of a trap to be shot he said i could shoot one of any size but told me if i shot one two big i would have to pay so much per pound due to trophy fee. I killed my hog within 19 minutes of being out I was there less than 45 minutes in the woods. the hog was cleaned but when i got home to look the meet over the hog had worms bad so I spent a bunch of money for nothing. I thought that was saposed to be a manged ranch, not a cestpool of nasty varments and deseptive trade practice. Maybe we can all file a class action on this guy I paid over 500 hundred for my hunt! and not to mention the dang bone yard that i seen its a wonder all the animals there havnt died from desease yet. the only thing I can say is that guy paul is a sorry S.O.B most of us are working men just trying to take time off and make a good hunt without having to have the upkeep of a lease everyyear and this guy takes advantage of the fact. one of the guys that were doing the skinning allso made durrogatory remarks about my wife when she was doing nothing or saying nothing I guess he was uses to wollerin with the hogs lol . I dont recomend this outfitter to anyone as CAPTAIN WOODROW F CALL WOULD SAY( I hate rood behavior in a man wont tolerate It). Mr. Paul need to remember we are disgruntled hunters and hunting accidents do happen. God help him If i ever go back to that place because I wont. I could think of 10 million ways to ruin his ranch one being my brother is a Warden. I hope he chokes on a zebra D*** next time i would use buckshot love you paul Texas cur dog Uvalde Blue Mountain Ranch
Summary:
Blue Mountain Ranch is a top notch Texas Hunting Ranch. Ranch Manager Clay Pope has over 10 years of expierence in the hunting industry. And has a client base and a photo album that speaks for itself!! I dont believe you can get the job taking care of a mulit million dollar operation if you dont know what your doing. The hunting industry is just like every other industry, you cant always please everyone. Some people are just unpleaseable. Being a outfitter is not a easy task, and to be in the buisness for 10 plus years and have countless praising reviews is something you can stand behind and trust. Not every hunter will have the hunt of a lifetime, thats why they call it hunting not killing, but i will promise if you go with Clay you will be taken care of. I have been in the outfitting industry for 7 years ,and I myself dont know of any guide or outfitter that takes care of there clients better then Clay. Recruit or Die
Summary:
Great article. I was born and raised in Texas. My brother and I hunted squirrels and rabbits since we were 11-12 years old. We always dreamed of deer hunting and after we took a trip thru New Mexico (we lived in Muleshoe for awhile) pronghorn was our next game of choice. We both graduated from high school and kinda lost interest in hunting rabbits and squirrels. My brother went to Viet Nam, I got married and moved to Wisconsin. Shortly after I moved here I was introduced to deer hunting here by a co-worker and friend. We were able to go just about anywhere to hunt. Wisconsin has thousands and thousands of acres of state or national forest, not to mention the land in MFL or FCL. Manage Forest Law or Forest Crop Law are programs where landowners pay minimal taxes on their land. The current tax is $1.46 per acre on FCL and MFL land. In return the landowner has to allow hunters access to the property. The lumber companies along with private owners, 29,000 altogether, have 2.9 million acres in both MFL and FCL programs. This is what gave me an opportunity to hunt. Available land. And this is what will bring in new hunters. When you are starting out in life with marriage, kids, entry level jobs you don't have the resources to lease land or go on guide hunts. The longer you are away from hunting the less likely you are to ever return to it or pass it on to your kids. My three sons all hunt deer and turkey with gun and bow, one is also a duck and bird hunter. Two of my daughter-in-laws are deerhunters with both gun and bow. All three of my grandchildren who are old enough to hunt are also bow and gun deer hunters. Deer hunting is part of our family tradition. Give them a place to hunt and they will come. Helicopter Hog Hunting in Texas Made Safer with Industry Leading Aerial Safety Course
Summary:
Excellent! I need to look into this. Shooting from helicopters is not like shooting from a stand. And 99% of shooters will overlook liability concerns that can/will happen. Personally, I have a $1 million blanket insurance policy (under $200) that would cover worst case. Might want to ask prospective buyers if they have one. Hands on shooting from chopper training will train the best. Osama bin Laden Is DeadSummary:
wohalliburton, LMAO...You are a consistent republican too...always trying to take responsibility for the good things the Dems do for America because the republicans can't get it done. The reason the republican war profiteers couldn't catch OBL is they always warned him they were on their way so they could keep the war going for their personal profit. The republicans had how many years to catch him? I think that was 7 years now how efficent is that? Ahhh about as efficent as the republicans were for the US economy. Who is the most prolific terrorist. Saddam is credited with the murder of 600,000 innocent Iraqis over a 25 year span. OBL is credited with the death of 3000-4000 Americans. Bush is credited with the death of 1.4 million innocent Iraqi citizens in just 10 short years, as we all know Iraq and Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11. Pat yourself on the back, you support the worst terrorist in history. Bush also gets dual credit for the 3000 Americans killed on 9/11 because declassified documents prove that Bush was warned about the attacks six weeks before 9/11. If Bush didn't know what was going to happen on 9/11 why did he have a surface to air missile battery placed on the hotel he was staying in on 9/10/01? Let the numbers tell the tale...now who is the most murderous of the three listed above. I know...I know, Bush didn't start the war in Iraq it was Obama...duh!
Why California Is Broke And Texas Is Not
Summary:
Texas is broke. We are 20+ billion in the hole since Bush and Perry have been running the show. People can feed their children but Perry spends almost $10,000 in tax money a month on rent. Perry refused the stimulus the federal government offered and we will feel it soon enough. Texas education is going to take a huge hit this year because Perry refused the 830 million for education because he couldn't use the money for things other than education. Congratulations are due the republican voters in this state as you are personally responsible for the dumbing down of our children. Has Perry even tried to create a job??? He is pure uselessness. Not to mention that Perry has never had a private sector job but is a millionaire...now you know where your tax dollars go, right in his pocket while teachers are getting laidoff and schools are closing. Republicans shoud be so proud. Trap HelpSummary:
Yall are AWESOME!!!!!! Thanks a million...I THINK I'M GONNA GET IT!!!! Oh another question...The property is about 100 or so acres. We also hunt with the dogs out there. Does this make any difference on the trapping? I feel kinda silly having to ask all of this, but I never needed to know. I had been hunting for years with my dad (deer, hogs, trapping, coyotes, birds...everything), and loved it, but didn't need to know how to do it on my own. But he left it all to me (guns, calls, decoys, the whole nine yards) so that I could carry it on with me...I'm just a little lost on where to go from here.... 1690 results found Next Page >Showing results 1 through 10
