We got in some good duck hunting over youth weekend. My friend Trent here is showing off our limit of ducks. He is a very good wingshot, and shoots a Mossberg Bantam in .20 ga. A really nice bag of Mallards, Wigeon, Teal, Gadwall and Pintail.

I took these two pro's duck hunting with me the last week of the season. They both shoot that Mossberg Bantam in a .20 ga. (A great youth gun), and I was impressed not only with their shooting, but their ability to sit still and wait on the shot. Both of these boys are going to grow into great waterfowlers. Oh yeah, that's my dog Laverne hamming it up with them.

A buddy took his dad hunting and he killed this 171 inch 8pt on a spot and stalk.

The buck was killed in Missouri.

This buck was taken over the weekend on a hunting trip to Missouri. Phil took this 172 6/8 inch buck of a lifetime with his bow. Definately worth the road trip.

My son and our little neighbor "Oliver". Oliver is shown holding his first duck ever, a nice redhead drake, after our hunt this morning. As you can see, he is pretty proud.

Wingdinger made a good shot on a running rabbit yesterday. A head shot with a rifle. Varmit hunting is good for teaching kids how to shoot well. He was shooting a Savage  .17 HMR with a 4X scope.
