Calling the ducks in can actually do the oposite if not done correctly. A good rule of thumb when calling is that less is more. The more you call the more they will catch your calling flaws. Give them a little something then lay off if they are coming in. You can buy a call that comes with a cd that will tell you how to use it best as well as when to use what calls. Also, motion is key to success. Have you ever seen ducks on water without a single ripple of movement? Neither have the ducks, so that is a dead give away that they are not real ducks. Make sure you are hidden very well, you can never have too much cover, and cover your face with paint or a facemask. Your face will stick out like a sore thumb to the ducks in the sky. As you hunt, you will learn more everyday as we all do, no matter how long you have been hunting. The ducks unlimited site is also good to check out, they have a bunch of resources as far as hunting tips and duck ID. www.ducks.org Best of luck to you, and if you have any other questions there are some good guys on here that would be willing to help you out.
