Search Results:Hannah's 1st Deer!
Summary:
Nice 8 point, free range buck our 10yr old daughter, Hannah Booth, took on the first day of youth season. This is her first deer! The deer was taken on the Booth Ranch in Booth, TX located in Fort bend County. 100yd shot with her Savage .223. This was only the second time she had ever fired that gun. Haven't scored him yet, but I'm thinking mid 130's. Not bad for your first deer! Great job Hannah! a buck i shot with my bow

One thing for sure.....most folks wouldn't have the backbone to even post these pictures!! Kudos to that!!! Shows he's human. If you hunt long enough, bow or gun, you will miss a shot. It is obvious that HaydenWall hunts some kind of big ranch by the pictures he posts, but that doesn't mean he can't shoot a "management" meat deer if the owner allows it. All of the "ANTLER NAZI's" on this site need to ease up on folks that like to eat and don't have the means to spend thousands on "deer farm" hunts and deer leases. We just like to hunt and enjoy eating what we are blessed with taking from our hunts!!! Good Post young man!! Female Hunter and her two whitetail deer
Summary:
It was my first time deer hunting and it was the Youth Hunt weekend in the end of October of 2009 at our family friend's BNL Ranch. My dad and I were sitting in the blind when we saw two bucks at the nearest feeder. I loaded the gun and aimed at the 10 pointer and shot at it. Sadly, I missed so i loaded and shot at it again. And I shot it! After my dad's friends and their kids were done, my dad and I headed toward the feeder and saw that even though I missed the 10 pointer, I shot the 6 pointer that was right next to it but neither I or my dad saw it fall! So now i have two sets of antlers above my bed mounted on my wall! Texas Double Thunder Chickin

Summary:
You have got to love this turkey hunting story. Got it in an email today. Check out what happened below... "Woke up in the monring. I step out back and hit the Hammer Head box call a couple of times. No response. I go back in the house put on my camo pants my camo t-shirt and my socks and flip flops. Yeah, that's right. Flip flops. lol. It's now about 8:20. I step back out on the back porch and hit the Hammer Head one more time and instantly have three long beards report from about 100 yards away. I wasn't even close to ready bang. I shut the door and run to the safe get the gun and shells and haul arse for the back door. TOO LATE. The birds were already 40 yards from the house! I wait and watch out the window for a couple seconds till they are at 27 yards and looking around for that hen. I then stepped out on the porch and BANG BANG, I've got two dead birds 9 1/2 inch beards on both with 1 inch spurs." Now is that hunting? lol Pretty awesome. I believe this was in Abielene, Texas by the way. 723 results found Next Page >Showing results 1 through 10
