Summary: The Journal Section is a place we designed for you to be able to tell a story, review a product, write a field report about a guide or lease, etc.
We thought it was simpler to have ONE place to write articles, regardless of the purpose, so we moved it all under "Journals."
If you write a great product review, we have the ability to assign it to the Product Review sections as Admins.
If people would like us to, I guess we could add a Product Review Submission link directly to that section. We use to have that in the old system but it was not used much.

Summary: We agree strongly with all of your comments. The advanced search function will be back. We removed it for now because so many leases and guides have data entry errors that only a fraction of the valid results were showing up. This issue - along with the issue of there being some outdated leases are related. Our current plan is to email and call on the phone every single Ranch and Guide and ask them to review their listing and make any appropriate changes. Thank you for taking the time to comment.

Summary: Does it have to be Public Land Hunting? Last Spring there were so many great turkey guides who were not booked. I am always amazed that spring turkey hunting in Texas isn't more popular. It might be one of the most pretty times of the year to be outdoors. For the price of $150 to $350, depending on the guide, you can get on property where shooting a turkey - or more than one turkey - is because you missed, not because of the lack of turkeys.

Summary: I am going back up this fall to video my friend doing the same hunt. The guide was really great. I highly recommend him if anyone wants to hunt a mountain lion. We had one guy with a open sight .308, one with a compound bow, and me with a pistol. We got two cats. Mine was the smallest.
