From Argentina dove hunting to Uruguay duck hunting and everything in between, Los Gauchos (raised by Texas hunting and fishing) - has grown to now include PERU. wingshooting, waterfowl, fishing, fly-fishing, cast and blast - anytime of year - Los Gauchos Outfitters.

During our second day of flyfishing on the Connecticut River in New Hampshire, I was taking a break on a rock when I spotted this flock of birds working their way upstream. 

Can anyone identify them?

I have some good video of them (which I'll post later) and would sure like to know what they were. 

The birds gathered together and watched us for about 10 minutes, getting closer and closer, until they finally decided it was safe to swim between us and further up the river.  Pretty interesting behavior to watch.

While at Yellowstone last year, we were taking a break from fly fishing and eating lunch at a picnic table.  This friggin' bird has absolutely ZERO problem landing on the table and flying off with my Cheetos.  (I have some video somewhere I need to post because it's hilarious.)

Anyway, the name of this bird is escaping me at this very second.  Could anyone identify it for me?  I'm pretty sure it's not a Bald Eagle.

I was fortunate enough to watch this Green Heron stalk, catch and eat this minnow. Round Rock, TX.
