Bear Creek Trophies provides a combination of high and low fenced areas that are managed by a wildlife biologist. We have over 30 acres of summer and winter foodplots planted.
Bear Creek Trophies is located near Jefferson, Texas in Marion and Cass Counties.
We are conveniently located to I-20 and I-30, so if you're coming from Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi or Alabama, by stopping here rather than driving to south or west Texas, you are gaining 1 1/2 to 2 days of hunting time.
We are only an hour drive from Shreveport Regional airport (SHV) which offers full jet service. Airport pick up and drop off can be included in your hunt.

I've inherited the 9,000 pasture that I leased with 6 other men last season. We harvested three trophy deer, 158, 162, 163 1/8 last season. We also harvest approximately 20 management/cull type deer on our pasture. We have 6 spots available for SERIOUS minded trophy hunters. We intend to have only 8 members. Guest ARE allowed! Our camp site is incredible...plenty of electricity and septic for whatever a man might want as to accommodations. This is a year round hunting lease. The bass fishing is second to none as our pasture has several large tanks...stocked with bass. One of the tanks is probably 60 feet deep. ¼ mile wide by ¼ mile long. Redfish Lodge is located on a mile-long, private peninsula that juts out into Copano Bay, ten minutes from Rockport, 40 minutes from Corpus Chrisit International Airport and a three hour or less drive from Houston and San Antonio. The main lodge has a spacious lounge with double fireplace and set up bar. There are meeting and game rooms wil billiards, air hockey, ping-pong, and of course cards. The main lodge can accommodate up to 26 guests. The new lodge, Ruddy Lodge, is housed in a 3600 square foot Vermont timber frame structure, the ultimate facility for a group up to 8 guests.
Quahadi Wildlife & Ranch RetreatSummary: On the Borden County Ranch we have fishable water in ponds (bass and catfish). We have areas of one section (640 acres) minimum up to 7 sections or even the whole 25 section (16,000 acres) Borden County Ranch. There are Antelope, native Pronghorn (only available if the State offers permits), Whitetail deer, a few Mule deer, Plentiful Bobwhite and Blue (or Scaled) Quail, ducks on ponds, Rio Grande Turkey, predators and feral hogs along the river and Mourning Doves. Glasscock/Howard Co ranch - excellent quail hunting, of both Bobwhite and Scaled/Blue and numerous good Whitetail bucks, Sandhill Crane, dove and a few ducks. We have coyote, bobcat - even the occassional mountain lion - and many prairie dogs. Fully catered packaged hunts with professional outfitters, well-trained dogs,hunting vehicles, ranch, lodge,and meals. We also offer day hunts, seasonal and annual leases. Several Leases on 50,000 acres. Borden Co Ranch - 16,000 acres/Howard-Glasscock Co Ranch - 34,000 acres. Annual leases including all hunting, fishing, camping and hiking on the Borden County Ranch cost from $7/acre - $10/acre. Prices on the Glasscock County Ranch are also $7/acre - $10/acre for annual recreation and all species hunting. It also includes limited catch and release
fishing at the Lodge. Lease sizes range from 2 sections - 4 sections to 6 sections - 10 1/2 sections to 20+/- sections and combinations of lodging may be included. Cheaper seasonal,split season and/or one species hunting
or recreational leases are available for $2-$6/acre. We also offer seasonal leases. Whitetail seasonal leases start at $2,000 per person, plus applicable trophy fees. Wild quail seasonal leases start at $2500 per person. There is a 2 person minimum.
We also offer annual memberships for families or corporations starting at $600/year up to $10,000 or more for large groups. These are basically $10/unit of use per day. Annual memberships are not leases, but rather use of unleased land. Alcohol allowed in moderation only at camp - not in buildings or outside camp or while hunting. No smoking while hunting or outside of camp. Guests allowed depending on pay structure. Seasonal lease, annual, 6 month, 2-5 years, or long term - Lease length varies. Minimum of 2 and maximum of 100 in group. We stable horses according to lease agreement and availability. We can furnish stands, feeders and feed according to agreement for extra fee. RV hookups and luxury lodge available as well as homes and kitchens or meals may be arranged all for a fee.
Bwanas Guide ServicesSummary: We have 4 spots left on our season lease in Ellis County. This is primarily a duck lease that we have set aside from our regular duck hunting lands located near the town of Telico in the Trinity River Bottoms and is adjacent to the structures where we run our daily hunts. The total area of the lease is $3000+ acres, but the season lease is a little over 350 acres. There are plenty of birds, but it is difficult for us to get our clients in there. This is the reason we offer it in this way. Most of the area is all weather access. We have put alot into this area and do very well on ducks, even in lean times. We do not hunt on the season lease land at all as that is for only those that lease it seasonally. Often birds work back and forth from our area to the lease area, giving everyone an opportunity for harvest. The most common ducks killed are Woodducks, Mallards, Gadwalls, Widgeon, and Pintails. All duck hunting is restricted to morning only. Price is $1500 a gun seasonally. There are a total of 8 members yearly, and we have 4 spots open. Duck season is approaching so we are looking to fill these spots soon! Blinds are built and the area is ready to go. Camping, dove hunting, fishing, and hog hunting are allowed, as well as some use of our skeet range and upland bird preserve. We will gladly show the place at any time.
