From April until October we have some of the best fishing "I mean catching" in Elgin Texas.  Fish varieties include bass, catfish (up to 20 lbs on one lake and 40 lbs on another), and perch.
 
We will have an on-site taxidermist available to take care of your needs and can ship them to you if needed.

We offer a range of services from dove hunting, varmint/predator hunting, bow fishing, and available upon request, hog hunts and snow goose hunts. We primarily specialize in waterfowl hunting. Blackland Outfitters has a vast range of properties covering several counties in north Texas. They vary from sloughs, wheat fields, corn fields, flooded timber creeks, large and small pools, and flooded bottom land. The areas in north Texas we hunt is located in the heart of the central flyaway, so we generally catch large numbers of waterfowl traffic during migration both ways.

Our large amount and diversification of properties allow for low pressure hunts which increases the chance for our clients to have successful hunts. The Mosley Ranch was established in 1989 in a small town called Trinity, Texas. It has since been moved to Highway 21 East, near Crockett, Texas, where it is owned and operated by Vernon Mosley Jr.. The ranch consists of 1800+ acres of the best East Texas habitat available.

The land ranges from hardwood and pine timber, to hay meadows and open grasslands. The ranch also has over twenty stocked ponds and lakes that are excellent for fishing.

The diverse landscape of limestone bluffs, giant oak trees, fertile pecan groves, grassy savannah, and nourishing south Texas hillsides at the ranch provides rewarding and picturesque hunting for our guests.

All hunters are accompanied by a Living Waters guide. Newly constructed deer blinds are provided. Bow hunting is available as well. All animals are skinned, quartered, and iced. Spot lighting for varmint hunting with a Living Waters guide is great nighttime fun.

Exotic Game Hunting
Hunters at Living Waters will find exotics and native breeds that include axis, mouflon, black buck and white tail. Our hunting guide will develop a hunt based upon your desires and the size of your hunting group.

Bird Hunting
Upland bird hunting at Living Waters includes pheasant, quail, chukar, guide, bird dogs and processing. We utilize premier guide services. This activity can be arranged by contacting our event planner.

We adhere to safety and the law at Living Waters. Guests are asked to bring their own hunting license, which is required by law, even when no white tail deer are being hunted. Guests must bring their own firearm and ammo. Minor aged hunters must have a youth hunter’s license and be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. If guests bring alcoholic beverages to enjoy, we insist that the firearms be laid down for the rest of the day or night.
