Mike and Phil are both professional licensed guides. All of the trips go out of Soldier Creek Resort. They do the striper fishing on scenic Lake Texoma and pride themselves in the upkeep of their boats and equipment.

Rods, reels, tackle, live bait, etc. After the trip, they clean, filet, and bag your fish. You can also bring your own poles and tackle to catfish on our dock while they filet the fish. Just watch out for the lady with the pink pole.

Our 5000 acre ranch is located in Deep South Texas, where the country is big and the bucks are bigger. The ranch is high fenced and intensely managed with supplemental feeding. Allen Christenson is a life-long resident of Austin. After graduating from Lanier High School, he earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas. Allen's service in the airforce included a tour in Viet Nam. Allen and his wife, Benita, live in Austin.

Allen has been fishing successfully on Lake Travis for over 30 years and is well qualified to serve as the most knowledgeable fishing guide on Lake Travis. Allen's prime concern is that his clients catch fish and have an enjoyable learning experience. Since 1979 Allen has also provided his clients with successful trophy bass excursions to Fayette County and Calaveras Lakes.
