Broken Spur Whitetails is a hunting and fishing guide service based in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. The Broken Spur Ranch in Kerrville, Texas, is our home and main ranch. It is a 417 acre high fenced ranch loaded with whitetails and exotics along with a 7,000 sq. ft. Hacienda Style home.  Our Lodging here at the Broken Spur Ranch is top notch all the way. We have 4 star accommodations and good 'ol Southern hospitality to go along with it.  We also have 12 other ranches in Texas to hunt, with a total of over 50,000 acres of land.

All Hunts Include:

• Two to Three day hunts. Professionally guided morning and evening hunts each day.
• Meals and accommodations in a spacious, comfortable lodge with stunning views.
• Harvested animals cleaned, quartered and caped.
  Spring Gobbler hunts are offered at a limited availability for two full days and all accommodations.
• Hunters may bring a non-hunting guest for an additional $150 per day.

Rolling hills covered with live oaks, green pastures and abundant wildlife characterize this 2680 acre ranch .

Los Encinos Ranch is one of the few ranches in South Texas covered by thousands of Live Oak Trees. There are also mesquite flats and open pastures with over 30 ponds which provide great habitat for the native species which include: Whitetail Deer, Rio Grande Turkeys, Javelina, Bobcats, Coyotes and Wild Hogs.

In addition, 350 acres have been set aside for exotic animals, including Axis Deer, Aoudad Sheep, Blackbuck Antelope, Fallow Deer, Scimitar Horned Oryx, Wildebeest, and Elk.

Ranch facilities include a ranch house along with a 4 bedroom, 2 bath lodge overlooking a 2 acre fishing lake, a lighted rifle range, large patio with campfire ring and BBQ pit.

Marty has been fishing on Lake Texoma since he was big enough to hold a rod in his hand.  He has been fishing for striped bass since their introduction into Lake Texoma in 1965.  Marty is a full time licensed guide.  His number one concern is the customer.

Marty's guide service on Lake Texoma uses top-of-the-line fishing tackle, rods and reels for stripers. His charter boat is a 2003 23 ft. Falcon with a 350 hp inboard. Blue Water Options
Texas Offshore Adventures, LLC. offers several options when it comes to blue water fishing. We will be happy to help you make the best possible decision about which trip will yield the best possible results during a certain time frame.  Our goal is to provide the best and most successful trip for you, our Guest.

Full Day Blue Water Trips
Due to our close proximity to deep water, Freeport is one of the few places on the upper Texas Coast you have a chance to catch Tuna, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Kingfish, Cobia, Amberjack and even Billfish all in the same day. We run our blue water day trips everyday of the year and achieve great success on them, frequently filling fish boxes before the day is up. Our primary methods of fishing on these trips change seasonally and consist of live bait fishing, chunking, casting top water plugs and trolling.

Overnight Tuna Trips
We generally leave the dock in the mid afternoon and return late the following morning. We normally are heading out to the big Spar and Floating rigs 100+ miles offshore.  We spend the entire night fishing for tuna, not something for the faint of heart.  While tuna is our primary query we’ll also catch Amberjack, Wahoo, Kingfish, Snapper, Grouper, Mahi Mahi, and Ling.  Our primary methods of fishing are live baiting, chunking, casting top water plugs and Jigging.

Offshore Options

Bottom Fishing
Once again, due to Freeport’s proximity to deep water, we enjoy some
spectacular bottom fishing. We routinely fish for trophy Red snapper, Mangrove snapper, big Grouper, Amberjack and Ling. We usually pick up other assorted species along the way as well. We leave the dock at safe light and return in the mid to late afternoon

Near Shore Options

Bull Redfish, Shark and Tarpon Trips       
The Jetties and Beachfront of Freeport hold Red fish of Epic proportions. We regularly see days where we catch double digit numbers of redfish over 35 pounds. These fish provide a huge challenge on light tackle. The best part is that these fish are here year round. We do choose to release most of the bull reds and hope that you choose to do so as well. We are looking forward to a
dynamic fishery for many years to come.

Traditional Inshore Trips
Freeport Offshore Adventures works very closely with several of the most talented inshore Captains in the area and would be happy to set up a day of inshore fishing for you. We will only book you with talented and courteous Captains. You will fish out of a 22-24 foot bay boat and be furnished with high quality tackle. The boats fish up to four anglers and several boats are available.   The trips leave at first light and return 4-6 hours later. You can expect to catch Speckled Trout, Redfish, and Flounder.

The JN Exotic Game Ranch is located approximately 20 miles south of Rocksprings, Texas or 45 miles north of Brackettville in Edwards County. The terrain is rolling brush country to deep canyons. The ranch is about 1200 acres that is game fenced and is under game management.

Because we have some of the most majestic animals in the world, you’re sure to enjoy your hunting adventure on the JN RANCH. Using our careful game management program, we have produced magnificent, healthy trophy animals guaranteed to make you the envy of all your friends.

Part of your full service hunt is comfortable quarters. Bedrooms are semiprivate with two beds per room. Linens are provided. Bathrooms are adjoining and supplies such as soap, towels, etc. are supplied. The house has a large back porch overlooking a magnificent view of the ranch. The ranch is equipped with a large walk-in cooler, ice machine, and freezers for your use. Other amenities available are fishing, skeet, target practice, photo safari, satellite TV, and Mexico is only 75 miles for those who wish to cross the border.

When you return to the lodge after your big game hunt, you can have your game sent to a local taxidermist for mounting, while you kick back, relax and let us do the rest! With our deluxe accommodations, you’re sure to enjoy your stay here.  All meals are prepared by the proprietor’s cook with a touch of country charm.
