First and foremost, client satisfaction is my priority. As a full time guide, freelance outdoor writer and touring pro, I am aware of the constantly changing tactics and techniques facing today's angler. I strive to stay abreast of these changes in order to educate both the beginning angler and the seasoned tournament fisherman on strategies that can be applied to any body of water.

Roger has over 10 years of tournament experience on Lake Sam Rayburn. Fishing in local, regional, and national tournaments, he has consistently placed in the money in circuits including Red Man, Anglers Choice, Everstart and Honey Hole.

SAM RAYBURN LAKE

Sam Rayburn offers some of the best fishing to be found anywhere in the nation. Nestled among tall pines and native hardwoods. This sprawling, Corps of Engineers impoundment, has very limited lakeside development, and as a result, it's uncluttered shoreline abounds with wildlife, including deer, eagles and migratory waterfowl of all kinds. With a current lake record of 16.80 lbs, "Big Sam" has few rivals for the title of "The Bass Factory of Texas".

It is time again to plan your trip to River Ridge for your   white bass fishing trip for next spring.   The whites will be running. This past season we caught really good on red & chartreuse roadrunners.   If action was slow, we tipped the roadrunner with a small piece of crawfish.   Most weigh between 2 - 3 lbs.   River level was low but fishing was good last season.   Sand bass were great.    Most days really good with big catches.   Looking forward to a great season in 2007.  Make your reservations now.   White bass have already started to come up the river.  By late December or early January if the water conditions permit we should be able to do a few white bass trips.  I have a new airboat and we should be able to get to where they are if the river is not too high or extremely low.  Late January it should really kick off.  If you can come on short notice give me a call for an early trip.

I fish out of a Triton TR-21, powered by a Yamaha 225 that can handle any size lake and 3 people comfortably. I prefer fishing topwater, spinners and soft plastics but can adapt to what ever you choose. I consider Drop Shot my specialty.   If you've always wanted to learn or just get better at this technique, you need to get with me. My Lake Fork Fishing Guide Service offers day trips for individual, corporate, or group sized parties on Lake Fork Tx.  You may use a credit card to pay for your guide trip or lodging.  I also offer guided crappie trips from May thru December.  And by the  way crappie fishing this month has been good fishing over my brush piles!!! This is the lake where just one cast can get you a trophy bass or crappie.  Summer and fall is a great time to catch crappie and for those too young to catch bass, catching a crappie is something all kids will enjoy. Just bring your filet knife and ice chest and take home a mess of great eating fish. I put out my own brush piles to fish around not just sit under the bridges where everyone else goes!!! The fall bass fishing on Fork is very good!!!  October and November weather is great and the leaves on our trees do not start turning fall colors till late October and early November.  Very good numbers of bass and crappie are caught in the fall, so book your trip now!!!!

  Fork is a great place to bring customers if you are in the corporate world and want a get away. A group trip is a good way to spend quality time with customers. I set up the lodging, meals, and other guides if needed. Golf is also available around the lake if you have some in the group who does not fish.
