Intensive management applications have been in place for several years including high fence, free choice feeding program, food plot program, habitat enhancement through planting and irrigating native shrubs and trees, prescribed burning, pond development, and intensive culling. Quality of whitetails has steadily improved and we are carrying many 150 plus bucks over from last year, and the 181 B & C buck taken last season is a testimony to the results of this program.

Other game includes axis deer, blackbuck antelope, wild turkey, and a few aoudads, not to mention fishing. A low fenced area borders Enchanted Rock State Park and has a running water creek going through it.

Ranch owner Harley Sullivan is looking for a group who will take care of the property and appreciate the uniqueness of the place. Harvest quota has been set at 8 top end bucks 140 B & C plus, 5 mid range bucks up to 130, and 5 culls. Hunters may also take 3 axis bucks and 2 blackbuck antelope, and limited turkey hunting. Any whitetails taken on the low fenced area which borders the state park do not go against the quota. Though this is not a year around lease, hunters will have access to the property during various windows of time through the course of the year.

A full time biologist/ranch manager lives on the property and is available to assist with various related activities. Lodging is fully furnished so that hunters simply need to bring their groceries as everything else is furnished. Ranch takes care of feeders, feed, provides deer stands, and virtually all other equipment needs.

Dos Angeles Ranch is 12,400 acres of diverse terrain and, is great South Texas habitat for quail, whitetail deer, turkeys, and exotics. Fly Fishing / Spinner Cast Fishing:

Pinto Creek flows through the ranch for about 3 ½ miles. Pinto Creek flows over limestone---it is a "Hill Country" creek in a South Texas setting. There are numerous waterfalls, several deep holes---water which is perfect for fly fishing or spinner cast fishing---perfect for wading or fishing from the bank.

Hot Tub / Big Screen TV in the Lodge.

One may decide between quail hunts to "veg"---watch a football game on the big screen TV or lie in the hot tub (the hot tub is a must under a million stars of a South Texas night!).
