Big Rack Ranch

Big Rack Ranch
Summary:

Big Rack Ranch

Located just south of College Station and one hour northwest of Houston, allows Big Rack Ranch to provide trophy hunts, while the luxuries of College and Houston are just a short drive away.  Big Rack provides a unique hunting opportunity that provides trophy exotic hunts, trophy whitetail deer hunts and the excitement of using dogs to hunt feral hogs. We are well equipped for any style of hunting.Come visit us at Big Rack Ranch for the hunt of a lifetime! Hunting at one of our ranches gives our clients the opportunity to take some of the best Whitetail deer back home. Hunting methods used vary depending on the time of year and the activity of the bucks. Hunting stands and locations are chosen based on the herd's movements and the specific requirement of the hunter.

The scenic post oak trees provide the perfect bow hunting opportunity, sandy river bottoms and thick beauty bush allow for a unique stalk hunt, and chasing the sound of a hound baying a hog all make for a memorable hunt.  Exotics include but are not limited to trophy animals such as fallow, axis, blackbuck, gemsbok, red stag and Black Hawaiian sheep.  In 2007 alone, five top 10 SCI animals were taken from our ranch.

Bella Vista Ranch

Situated high above most of Webb County, Bella Vista "beautiful view" provides a truly unique hunting experience.  Established in 2000, Bella Vista has been intensely managing the native genetics provided by this south Texas hunting refuge.  We offer true South Texas trophy whitetail deer in addition to dove, quail, feral hogs and predator hunts.  The thick brush south Texas provides, aids in producing massive whitetail deer.  However, we enhance their potential by planting numerous food plots and supplementing with protein and cottonseed that is available year round.

Bella Vista is happy to accommodate any style of hunter whether it is bow, rifle or muzzleloader.  In addition to any style, any type of hunter is welcome.  We are family oriented and handicapped friendly.  If you have already experienced the thrill of a trophy whitetail deer, then hunting a 400+ elk would be just right for you.  Bella Vista is proud to have elk and red stag available for hunters who are looking for an additional trophy to take home.

In addition to hunting, we have fishing available in any of our many lakes.
