Water Wolf Adventures features one of the finest fishing adventures on the Texas Coast.

In 1996 Capt. Lemmons turned a life long passion for fishing, photography, boats and outdoors into a full time vocation.  The Captain has spent many years on the bay systems of the Rockport, Texas area, and he knows some of the best the Hot Spots.

Capt. Lemmons holds a U.S.C.G. master's license.   He is Licensed by Texas Parks and Wildlife.  He is certified by the Red Cross in first aid and CPR.

We specialize in both artificial and live bait fishing on the bay systems around the Texas Coastal Bend.  We target Trout, Redfish, Black Drum, Flounder, & Sheepshead with the greatest emphasis on Trout  and Redfish.  You will be fishing on a rigged out 2007 Shoalwater 21' Cat - Water Wolf III .   This boat is powered by a 200hp Evinrude E-Tec and is loaded with all the latest Electronics.  A 90 Quart ice chest is provided on the boat to keep your food and drinks, cold and fresh.

Your adventure starts when we step on the Captain's boat. As we leave the dock the beauty of the shallow bays and flats unfold as the sun transforms the grey half-light of dawn into a miraculous display of color that defies description. The water, reefs, shorelines, and birds create a magical paradise for your adventure. We will catch some fish, experience the wonders of the flats, have a lot of fun, and hopefully create memories that will last a lifetime.

Aside from an adventure and having fun, the idea of a fishing trip is to catch some fish. We have made live bait fishing a specialty, day in and day out the live bait method seems to be the most productive. We prefer to use this method while fishing from the boat, which allows us to not only fish the flats but deep-water reefs as well.

Live bait is not the only method and we applaud anyone who is up to the artificial bait challenge. Should you choose to use the artificial bait method, we will spend the day fishing for trout and redfish.

We can also accommodate the wade fisherman. Whatever your preference, we will make every effort to insure your trip will become a memorable adventure.

We are extremely fortunate to have the abundance of fish we do and we try to keep it that way by being careful what we kill. Twenty-eight inch trout and thirty three inch redfish are something we don't catch every day. By taking a lot of pictures, measuring and releasing the huge ones we will be able to enjoy catching these big fish for generations to come. The pictures and measurements will yield a fiberglass mount that is better than any skin mount and besides the smaller ones taste better. If a large bag of fillets is your only reason for a guided trip, then a trip to the local fish market might be a better investment. We are not trying to be extreme, just responsible.

We provide everything needed for a memorable fishing adventure. From the knowledge of the bays and expertise on the water to the rods, reels, bait, and lures. We also provide ice and an ice chest for your food and drinks. At the end of the day your fish will be cleaned and packaged for your trip home.
 

Captain John Barbree has been a saltwater fishing guide in the Coastal Bend area for over twenty years.  He was born and raised in the Texas Bend, and has been fishing the bays and waterways surrounding Corpus Christi for almost all of his life.

With eight grandchildren, Captain John is a natural with kids.  The parents usually fish off the bow of the boat and Captain John takes the stern with the kids, giving Mom and Dad a break.  His favorite type of trip is with a family on board.

Rockport Outdoor Adventures was created by Dr. Jon Gray with two main purposes in mind. First, to establish a fishing and hunting club that caters to the most avid outdoorsman in Texas and secondly, to provide an enjoyable and educational outdoor experience for youth and visitors in the Rockport-Fulton area.

Jon is a United States Coast Guard (USCG) and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) licensed captain and has been fishing and hunting the Texas coast for most of his life. Whether your interest is our fishing and hunting club, youth fishing camps, birding, or just having a relaxing lodging experience, Jon will work hard to make your trip a success.

You will be fishing aboard Jon's 2006 model ZX22 Team Skeeter Bay Boat powered by a 225 hp Yamaha outboard. This is an outstanding boat with a wide 98" beam and is 22 feet in length. Skeeter Boats are known for their smooth, dry, safe, and fast performing rides. Special features include two live wells, a deck washdown system, optimal storage, and a marine stereo and CD sound system.

Redfish Charters offers you the ultimate in saltwater fishing on the Texas Gulf Coast.  Fishing Aransas Bay, Estes Flats, Redfish Bay, California Hole and Copano Bay in the Rockport area, the captain will fish with young and old alike. He welcomes the most experienced or he will teach the inexperienced.

Capt. Charlie runs a 24' DLX Carolina Skiff powered by a 115 horsepower 4-Stroke Suzuki  Outboard.  Enjoy fishing for mainly redfish, but you might catch some trout or several other species of fish.

Capt. Charles Newton has 25 years of experience fishing the waters of Rockport, he carries USCG License and TX Parks & Wildlife Guide License & TWIC card. 

Capt. will go out to his favorite bait catching spot.  Capt. Charlie catches his own bait and is awesome to watch.  Sit back and watch the pro at work, while he spins and catches the bait you will use for the trip.  Fresh bait that hasn't been beaten in a tank over night and is a welcome site to the redfish. 

Capt. Charlie is a one man team.  He will bait your hooks and cast the rods and reels for you (unless you really don't want him to).  Now it's your turn to bring them redfish into the boat.   Finally the ice chest is awaiting those beauties, have fun and fill it up with your limit.  When you have your limit then the Capt. will bring you back to the dock for the picture taking session.  He will hang them up and let you take all the pictures you want.  Usually Beverly will be there waiting with the camera also and can e-mail your pictures to you.

After the picture taking is over, Capt. Charlie will fillet and debone the fish for you or you can request that they be left on the half shell for the BBQ pit, either was is fine with him, and awesome eating.

Capt. Charlie loves to take kids fishing.  By ”ruining” them, he figures they will grow up to love fishing instead of getting into trouble.  Of course he likes to take adults also.

POSEIDON ADVENTURES proudly offers bay fishing charters aboard the Poseidon II..  Fish with us in the  back bays and cuts throughout the Port Aransas, Texas area.  We provide all the bait, tackle, ice, and soft drinks.

Capt. Spivey is a former member of the Port Aransas Boatmen's Association, where he served as the chairman of the Shallow Water Roundup.
