Capt. McMahon is a US Coast Guard licensed captain and runs a 24-foot Carolina Skiff powered by a 115 horsepower Yamaha motor. This boat will get you into the shallow flats with plenty of space for everyone to fish with safety, ease, and comfort.

Families, children and corporate trips are always welcome and live bait is the preferred method used for landing those Texas-sized trophy fish. If it's an artificial trip you want, Bull Run Charters can accommodate that as well.

Captain Brent Hopkins is a full-time professional fishing and hunting guide for the Rockport, Texas area.  His area of fishing consists of San Antonio Bay all the way into Baffin Bay.  Other area bays fished include Copano, St. Charles, Aransas, Mesquite, Aryes, Carlos, Redfish, Corpus Christi, Nueces, the Upper Laguna Madre, and many more small bays too numerous to mention.

Capt. Brent Hopkins commands a custom 25' Trans Fiberglass XLR8 with a 225 Suzuki 4-stroke, with cellular phone, medical kit, G.P.S., VHF marine radio, and USCG approved life vests.

Captain Brent is licensed by the U. S. Coast Guard and the State of Texas and is certified in adult CPR and first aid.  He is also an active member of the Coastal Bend Guides Association, and serves as a member of the Board of Directors, representing the city of Rockport, Texas.

With over 15 years of experience in the hunting and fishing guiding industry, he is well-seasoned in catering to clients, both male and female.  While specializing in wadefishing for speckled trout and redfish, he also utilizes drift and anchor fishing techniques for flounder, black drum, and sheephead to all novice and experienced fishermen.  Captain Brent welcomes children over 5 years of age with respectful parental guidance.

Captain Mike Cook has been fishing the Texas Coast for over 35 years including 12 years in the Rockport area. Mike is a USCG licensed captain as well as a licensed fishing guide by Texas Parks and Wildlife. He is past president of the Saltwater Angler's League of Texas and supporter of CCA and other conservation efforts. Mike is very patient and enjoys working with anglers interested in learning the art of shallow water fishing and fly casting. He encourages catch and release but is more than happy for you to keep your legal limit. Mike is available for guest speaking appearances at club meetings or other events.

Maverick Trips
You will fish aboard Captain Mike's 17' Maverick Mirage HPX Florida style flats boat. You will be amazed how shallow this boat can go and of the fish you will see in the ultra skinny water. Silently poling the shallow water Mike will help you sight your prey, be it tailing reds or cruising reds and trout. The rest is up to you.  Due to the style of fishing and size of the boat Maverick trips are limited to two anglers.

Novice Packages
Rome was not built in a day. Good fly fishers and sight casters aren't either. The majority of first time fly fishers and sight casters find it very difficult to catch a fish on their first trip. Plan to arrive a day early so Captain Mike can meet with you and go over equipment, basic fly casting instruction/troubleshooting, basic shallow water fishing, sight casting and reading the water. Mike will spend up to 3 hours with you to improve your odds of catching fish on your trip the next day. In order to really enhance your odds Mike has multi day discounts so you can get several hours of "OWT". (On the Water Training)

I first starting fishing in Aransas Pass, TX when I was 3 years old. Though from what I've been told I was on a boat at 6 months. And I've been thanking my grandparents and parents for that ever since. Then when I was around 10 I fished my first tournament with my father and grandfather. The problem was the only thing I won was a rod and reel, and that was a door prize. But it didn't matter, by then I had already "caught" the fishing bug.

Well, I've gotten a little older, and hopefully wiser, I've come to love all aspects of the Sport of Fishing and want to share my passion and knowledge with everyone. And with the help of my new wife I have this new website and I'm anxious to make new friends with all of you who I take out catching!

I can take you to some of the best coastal shallow water fishing available on the Texas middle coast. Featuring Speckled Trout up to 10 + lbs., huge Redfish and Flounder, along with many other species. Give us a call to see what's biting now.  We fish where the fish are, that includes the inshore bays, the surf, structure and wrecks, and some of the offshore blue water. We fish with artificial lures and soft plastics, various live baits including croaker and shrimp, and you are also welcome to bring fly fishing tackle. You can wade fish or fish from the boat.

Alan has been a professional fisherman for 27 years. He is a licensed Master Captain through the U.S. Coast Guard and with the State of Texas. Alan is also a member of the Coastal Bend Guides Association.

Alan runs a 23' custom built Haynie with a Mercury OptiMax 200 (the only maroon Haynie, so he's easy to find). Alan runs tours from the Rockport Area along the Texas Coast to Baffin Bay. So whatever kind of fishing you are looking for, Alan can accommodate you. We look forward to fishing with you.

Captain Bill “Z” is a Licensed Coast Guard Captain fully insured. He holds an OUPV and Master Inland License. Bill is also a member of the Coastal Bend Guides Association and is in accordance with all DOT/USCG rules and regulations. In addition Captain Bill is a Certified Captain/Guide and member of the International Game Fish Association. Bill practices catch and release of trophy fish to preserve the natural fisheries of the Texas Coast.

Come aboard a 2008 Bay Ranger that's safe and comfortable and fish for Speckled Trout, Redfish and Drum. Drift, power troll, wade or fish the surf weather permiting with artificial or live bait.  It is fully stocked with Shimano reels and Texas Tackle rods. Again your personal tackle is welcomed.  You will be furnished with both open faced spinning and bait casting tackle should you request.

For sight casting with a Fly come aboard a 17 ft Hells Bay Professional. A carbon Kevlar hull that truly fishes skinny water quietly. Let Captain Bill pole you into the backcountry and flats of the Texas Coast.  The Hells Bay is fully equipped with Orvis Fly rods and reels. In addition a full complement of fly patterns. You are also encouraged to bring your personal tackle. It’s all about what works for you and what you feel comfortable with. A 9 wt works well all round however a 6 wt will work depending on the fly and wind condition’s. At times it is possible to spotfish only accessible by wading. We will only wade if you are equipped with stingray boots. (No exceptions please). The Hells Bay is limited to 2 anglers.

Personal items:
You should bring your lunch and drinks. Ice will be supplied. Waterproof sunscreen with a SPF of 30 is recommended and 45 SPF is common. Light weight clothing, long sleeve shirts and pants. Boat shoes and no black soled shoes Please! Your lucky fishing hat or a large brimmed hat and polarized sunglasses.

Note: Both the Ranger and Hells Bay are equipped with built in coolers. Please bring your lunch and drinks in a bag. Sufficient ice will be supplied. Your fish will be cleaned and packaged at the end of your trip.

Now with 2 locations to serve you:  140 North Cove Harbor in Rockport and 1930 Highway 361 on the Port Aranasas Causeway.  Most of our offshore fishing trips depart from Fisherman's Wharf, so that our customers can more easily take advantage of fish cleaning services offered there.  Our bay fishing trips depart from the TPWD public boat ramp.

Redfish Charters offers you the ultimate in saltwater fishing on the Texas Gulf Coast.  Fishing Aransas Bay, Estes Flats, Redfish Bay, California Hole and Copano Bay in the Rockport area, the captain will fish with young and old alike. He welcomes the most experienced or he will teach the inexperienced.

Capt. Charlie runs a 24' DLX Carolina Skiff powered by a 115 horsepower 4-Stroke Suzuki  Outboard.  Enjoy fishing for mainly redfish, but you might catch some trout or several other species of fish.

Capt. Charles Newton has 25 years of experience fishing the waters of Rockport, he carries USCG License and TX Parks & Wildlife Guide License & TWIC card. 

Capt. will go out to his favorite bait catching spot.  Capt. Charlie catches his own bait and is awesome to watch.  Sit back and watch the pro at work, while he spins and catches the bait you will use for the trip.  Fresh bait that hasn't been beaten in a tank over night and is a welcome site to the redfish. 

Capt. Charlie is a one man team.  He will bait your hooks and cast the rods and reels for you (unless you really don't want him to).  Now it's your turn to bring them redfish into the boat.   Finally the ice chest is awaiting those beauties, have fun and fill it up with your limit.  When you have your limit then the Capt. will bring you back to the dock for the picture taking session.  He will hang them up and let you take all the pictures you want.  Usually Beverly will be there waiting with the camera also and can e-mail your pictures to you.

After the picture taking is over, Capt. Charlie will fillet and debone the fish for you or you can request that they be left on the half shell for the BBQ pit, either was is fine with him, and awesome eating.

Capt. Charlie loves to take kids fishing.  By ”ruining” them, he figures they will grow up to love fishing instead of getting into trouble.  Of course he likes to take adults also.

Rockport Outdoor Adventures was created by Dr. Jon Gray with two main purposes in mind. First, to establish a fishing and hunting club that caters to the most avid outdoorsman in Texas and secondly, to provide an enjoyable and educational outdoor experience for youth and visitors in the Rockport-Fulton area.

Jon is a United States Coast Guard (USCG) and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) licensed captain and has been fishing and hunting the Texas coast for most of his life. Whether your interest is our fishing and hunting club, youth fishing camps, birding, or just having a relaxing lodging experience, Jon will work hard to make your trip a success.

You will be fishing aboard Jon's 2006 model ZX22 Team Skeeter Bay Boat powered by a 225 hp Yamaha outboard. This is an outstanding boat with a wide 98" beam and is 22 feet in length. Skeeter Boats are known for their smooth, dry, safe, and fast performing rides. Special features include two live wells, a deck washdown system, optimal storage, and a marine stereo and CD sound system.
