Located in Port Mansfield, Texas on Texas' world renowned lower Laguna Madre, Getaway Adventures Lodge and Port Mansfield were ranked one of the 'Top Ten Hottest Fishing Destinations' by Field & Stream Magazine. 

Port Mansfield on the lower Laguna Madre, one of only three navigable hyper-saline lagoons in the northern hemisphere, is a sight fisherman's dream come true. With two feet, and ether clear waters, fly-fisherman and light tackle aficionados flock to her unique sights and fisheries for a distinctly south Texas fishing experience. Her hyper-salinity has bred a unique estuary boasting some of the largest Speckled Sea Trout in the world -- not to mention a world class Red Drum and Tarpon Fishery.

Port Mansfield and Getaway Adventures Lodge also offer world class offshore fishing at some of the closest distances on the Texas Gulf Coast.  Smoker Kings, Cobia, and Snapper are often caught within sight of the beach and Blackfin Tuna, Amberjack, Grouper, and Mako are routinely taken within 25 miles of the Port Mansfield Jetties.

We welcome you to come on in and take a look to see what Getaway Adventures Lodge has to offer.  We pride ourselves in delivering a product of unmatchable quality with a down home Texas family feel.  A completely family ran operation Getaway Adventures Lodge and the Shuler family look forward to welcoming you in to the family.

Getaway Adventures Lodge's standard packages include three nights lodging and two days guided fishing or hunting. Your typical adventure starts with an arrival at Getaway Adventures Lodge and we get you settled into your room and introduce you to our staff.  On the first night, we make reservations at one of the local restaurants and let you settle in at your leisure.

The next morning we wake you up for a Texas Style buffet before hitting the water at daybreak.  Lunch is prepared for you and served on the boat.  Once returning to the dock after a day of fishing, enjoy the evening with finger foods and a tasty adult beverage before dinner at six.  After dinner, enjoy sitting on the deck, or by the pool, or for those that have not had enough fishing for the day, try to catch one of our local tarpon or snook off the docks.
