Rockport Outdoor Adventures was created by Dr. Jon Gray with two main purposes in mind. First, to establish a fishing and hunting club that caters to the most avid outdoorsman in Texas and secondly, to provide an enjoyable and educational outdoor experience for youth and visitors in the Rockport-Fulton area.

Jon is a United States Coast Guard (USCG) and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) licensed captain and has been fishing and hunting the Texas coast for most of his life. Whether your interest is our fishing and hunting club, youth fishing camps, birding, or just having a relaxing lodging experience, Jon will work hard to make your trip a success.

You will be fishing aboard Jon's 2006 model ZX22 Team Skeeter Bay Boat powered by a 225 hp Yamaha outboard. This is an outstanding boat with a wide 98" beam and is 22 feet in length. Skeeter Boats are known for their smooth, dry, safe, and fast performing rides. Special features include two live wells, a deck washdown system, optimal storage, and a marine stereo and CD sound system.

Redfish Charters offers you the ultimate in saltwater fishing on the Texas Gulf Coast.  Fishing Aransas Bay, Estes Flats, Redfish Bay, California Hole and Copano Bay in the Rockport area, the captain will fish with young and old alike. He welcomes the most experienced or he will teach the inexperienced.

Capt. Charlie runs a 24' DLX Carolina Skiff powered by a 115 horsepower 4-Stroke Suzuki  Outboard.  Enjoy fishing for mainly redfish, but you might catch some trout or several other species of fish.

Capt. Charles Newton has 25 years of experience fishing the waters of Rockport, he carries USCG License and TX Parks & Wildlife Guide License & TWIC card. 

Capt. will go out to his favorite bait catching spot.  Capt. Charlie catches his own bait and is awesome to watch.  Sit back and watch the pro at work, while he spins and catches the bait you will use for the trip.  Fresh bait that hasn't been beaten in a tank over night and is a welcome site to the redfish. 

Capt. Charlie is a one man team.  He will bait your hooks and cast the rods and reels for you (unless you really don't want him to).  Now it's your turn to bring them redfish into the boat.   Finally the ice chest is awaiting those beauties, have fun and fill it up with your limit.  When you have your limit then the Capt. will bring you back to the dock for the picture taking session.  He will hang them up and let you take all the pictures you want.  Usually Beverly will be there waiting with the camera also and can e-mail your pictures to you.

After the picture taking is over, Capt. Charlie will fillet and debone the fish for you or you can request that they be left on the half shell for the BBQ pit, either was is fine with him, and awesome eating.

Capt. Charlie loves to take kids fishing.  By ”ruining” them, he figures they will grow up to love fishing instead of getting into trouble.  Of course he likes to take adults also.

POSEIDON ADVENTURES proudly offers bay fishing charters aboard the Poseidon II..  Fish with us in the  back bays and cuts throughout the Port Aransas, Texas area.  We provide all the bait, tackle, ice, and soft drinks.

Capt. Spivey is a former member of the Port Aransas Boatmen's Association, where he served as the chairman of the Shallow Water Roundup.

Now with 2 locations to serve you:  140 North Cove Harbor in Rockport and 1930 Highway 361 on the Port Aranasas Causeway.  Most of our offshore fishing trips depart from Fisherman's Wharf, so that our customers can more easily take advantage of fish cleaning services offered there.  Our bay fishing trips depart from the TPWD public boat ramp.

Come fish the world-famous waters of the Texas Coastal Bend with Texas Saltwater Fishing Guide, Captain Mike O’Dell.  The waters surrounding Aransas Pass, Port Aransas, Corpus Christi, Rockport, and Fulton are legendary for the Trout, Redfish, and Drum they produce.

Captain Mike fishes Corpus Christi Bay, Redfish Bay, Aransas Bay, Copano Bay, and Nueces Bay.  He is a licensed captain through the U. S. Coast Guard and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.

Both Half day (4-5 hours) and full day (7-8 hours) trips are available.  
When you have large groups, Capt. Mike will arange for multiple boats to accommodate your group and to make sure each of you get the best chance and experience viable. Kayak Trips are also available, 4 hour to Full day trips.

Captain Mike fishes from a custom-made twenty-three foot Haynie boat with a 150 Mercury Optimax engine to get you where the fish are - QUICK with a dry, comfortable ride.  Captain Mike furnishes Bait, Rods, Reels, Tackle, a cooler and ice for all of the fish you're going to catch!

Captain Bill “Z” is a Licensed Coast Guard Captain fully insured. He holds an OUPV and Master Inland License. Bill is also a member of the Coastal Bend Guides Association and is in accordance with all DOT/USCG rules and regulations. In addition Captain Bill is a Certified Captain/Guide and member of the International Game Fish Association. Bill practices catch and release of trophy fish to preserve the natural fisheries of the Texas Coast.

Come aboard a 2008 Bay Ranger that's safe and comfortable and fish for Speckled Trout, Redfish and Drum. Drift, power troll, wade or fish the surf weather permiting with artificial or live bait.  It is fully stocked with Shimano reels and Texas Tackle rods. Again your personal tackle is welcomed.  You will be furnished with both open faced spinning and bait casting tackle should you request.

For sight casting with a Fly come aboard a 17 ft Hells Bay Professional. A carbon Kevlar hull that truly fishes skinny water quietly. Let Captain Bill pole you into the backcountry and flats of the Texas Coast.  The Hells Bay is fully equipped with Orvis Fly rods and reels. In addition a full complement of fly patterns. You are also encouraged to bring your personal tackle. It’s all about what works for you and what you feel comfortable with. A 9 wt works well all round however a 6 wt will work depending on the fly and wind condition’s. At times it is possible to spotfish only accessible by wading. We will only wade if you are equipped with stingray boots. (No exceptions please). The Hells Bay is limited to 2 anglers.

Personal items:
You should bring your lunch and drinks. Ice will be supplied. Waterproof sunscreen with a SPF of 30 is recommended and 45 SPF is common. Light weight clothing, long sleeve shirts and pants. Boat shoes and no black soled shoes Please! Your lucky fishing hat or a large brimmed hat and polarized sunglasses.

Note: Both the Ranger and Hells Bay are equipped with built in coolers. Please bring your lunch and drinks in a bag. Sufficient ice will be supplied. Your fish will be cleaned and packaged at the end of your trip.
