Welcome to M. F. Guide Service. My name is Mike Flanagan and I have over 50 years of fishing knowledge, experience, and teaching. My goal to clients is to make your fishing experience safe, fun, and memorable. I am a licensed fishing guide (#5053). 

LAKES
I fish several lakes in the North and East Texas regions including Ray Roberts, Fork, Texoma, Grapevine, Lewisville (Dallas), Bridgeport, and Moss reservoirs.

ACCOMODATIONS
We will be fishing from a 21 foot Triton Bass Boat and depending on your preferences we can fish for large mouth bass, small mouth bass, spotted bass, striped bass, sand bass, and hybrid bass.

I can accommodate up to three persons of any age on a one boat trip. Group trips are also available that will include some of the region’s most experienced guides to assist.

All equipment will be provided and can accommodate any skill level, from the beginner to the professional angler. I practice catch and release on black bass and small mouth bass.

Summary:

All hunters are accompanied by a Living Waters guide. Newly constructed deer blinds are provided. Bow hunting is available as well. All animals are skinned, quartered, and iced. Spot lighting for varmint hunting with a Living Waters guide is great nighttime fun.

Exotic Game Hunting
Hunters at Living Waters will find exotics and native breeds that include axis, mouflon, black buck and white tail. Our hunting guide will develop a hunt based upon your desires and the size of your hunting group.

Bird Hunting
Upland bird hunting at Living Waters includes pheasant, quail, chukar, guide, bird dogs and processing. We utilize premier guide services. This activity can be arranged by contacting our event planner.

We adhere to safety and the law at Living Waters. Guests are asked to bring their own hunting license, which is required by law, even when no white tail deer are being hunted. Guests must bring their own firearm and ammo. Minor aged hunters must have a youth hunter’s license and be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. If guests bring alcoholic beverages to enjoy, we insist that the firearms be laid down for the rest of the day or night.

Whether stalking a mouflon or walking through tall grasses behind a highly trained Labrador retriever, the Living Waters adventure continues…

We are committed to providing the best all-around fishing experience on Lake Whitney.  We have been offering full service guided fishing trips since 2002.  Our focus is on giving our fishing clients the most comfortable and enjoyable fishing experience available.  Experience is not necessary and we love to help teach new anglers and first-timers alike, no matter their age.  We offer snacks and drinks on our four hour charters and a light lunch on our all day trips at no additional charge.  We fish for Striped Bass, White Bass, three species of Catfish, and two species of Crappie, but these are only a few of the many species available in Lake Whitney.  There are Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, and Spotted Bass.  Some of the toughest and largest fish aren't even usually mentioned.  These would be:  Alligator Gar, Needlenose Gar, Buffalo, and Carp.  Many times we catch these other species while targeting other fish.

Joe Joslin has fished Toledo Bend and Sam Rayburn Reservoirs for over 30 years and has been a full-time licensed guide since 1998. He specializes in Largemouth bass and fishes most all of Rayburn and the southern one half of Toledo which many feel harbors more than its share of lunker bass.

He has landed six bass over 10 pounds and his largest bass to date is an 11 pound 8 ounce beauty that was caught in the Texas Island area of south Toledo. His most recent double digit bass was caught last November and weighed 10.2 pounds and it too was caught on south Toledo.

In addition to guiding, Joe is a frequent tournament angler, outdoor writer for several newspapers/outdoor magazines and numerous websites. Joslin also frequently leads fishing seminars.

Joslin is based out of Indian Creek which is located on the southwest corner of Toledo Bend Lake on the Texas side which also is about 30 minutes from Rayburn.

Licensed since 1982, Charley began fishing full time on Texoma in 1987, learning all the hottest spots. In 1988 he moved his operation to Cedar Mills Marina & Resort and you can almost always find him on the Fishing Fleet Dock, either just returning from a trip or cleaning a big catch of fish! Stringer Striper Guide Service is aggressive, experienced in finding fish, and confident that you can catch them. Charley's 20+ years of professional guide experience ensures that you will have one of the best fishing trips of your life. He provides all fishing equipment (rods, reels, tackle, live bait, etc) and all you have to do is catch 'em! Fish until your limit is reached or up to eight hours, and you don't even have to clean your own fish! Charley will do it for you. He estimates that some 6,500 fish per year find their way onto his client's tables. Now thats some fish!

Come join us for a full or half day fishing trip on Possum Kingdom Lake. Texas Parks & Wildlife has stocked millions of Striper in PK Since 2001. The fish are healthy , have reached legal size, and are ready to bite. Sand Bass are also abundant.

We fish out of large outboard boats that are safe and dry.  Corporate , Large Group, and Multiple boat trips are available. Kids & ladies are welcome. We use live and artificial baits depending on the season and fishing conditions.

All fish are cleaned & bagged at the end of your trip.
