Well we are half way through the “Spring Fling” and we sure hope you are enjoying it.  We have some very exciting hunts coming your way for the second half as well.  We end the first half with my wife as she makes her first ever bow kill!  Things were perfect.  It was Mother’s Day and the daughter, wife, and I set out to fill her tag.  After shooting her bird it ran off and we reviewed the footage.  Then we came across some fawns and the camera man taped over all the after excitement, etc.  As a camera man, I am just as excited as the hunter and I too make mistakes.  At least we still got the shot on film…

This week plans get changed up when we arrive to our spot, someone is already there.  Instead of possibly messing up the entire hunt, Mr. Steve suggested we hunt a piece of his property where the birds have been evading for a couple weeks.  It started out slow but ended red hot!  That is was friends are for!
