Search Results:A Very Painful Lesson in Gun Safety - Scope Breaks Girls Nose
Summary: ouch. I blame the idiots letting her shoot the gun. They should have seen that she wasn't even holding it the right way and corrected it. They were too reckless with the firearm and with her if you ask me. Also, they didn't even handle the broken and bloody nose right. Your not supposed to put your head back anymore. In my first aid training they say that putting your face forward is more effective. Anyway, this made me rub my nose a few times and definately got me thinking about how I let people handle firearms under my supervision.

Summary:
Adolfo, I couldn't agree more. I get so sick of watching these guys on TV take 3 year olds and less just so they can "make" a show and then go on and on about what a great deer they've killed. Jackie and any other hunter of his experience level should, in my opinion, be ashamed. I always tell my hunters that any deer you would shoot on the last day, you should shoot on the first day. Don't compromise just to "get your money's worth" or sell your tv show. After all, it's supposed to be about the hunt, and I truly think more people are turned off rather than impressed when these tv guys do this. Bye Bye Bunny
