Toyota Texas Bass Classic Returns to Lake Conroe October 1 – 3

The Toyota Texas Bass Classic (TTBC) will return to Lake Conroe in 2010. The tournament received tremendous support in its first year on the Houston-area lake and will be held for the second time October 1 – 3. Ticketed activities for fans, including concerts, weigh-ins and expo areas, will take place October 2 and 3 at the Lone Star Convention & Expo Center. The event benefits the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) and its outdoor recreation programs.

Glass & Kisselburg dominate the field to win over $20,000 on Lake Travis

March 6, 2010 marked the second event in the 2010 season for Bass Champs Central Region anglers. 180 teams converged on Lake Travis competing for a 102% payback in cash and prizes for this event. Jarrell, Texas anglers Landon Glass and Jayson Kisselburg brought in the sack that towered above the rest, winning by a 6 pound margin to claim over $20,000 in prize money.

USDA Secretary Delivers Welcome CRP News to Pheasants, Quail, and Hunters

Today at Pheasants Forever’s National Pheasant Fest, U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced plans for a new Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) general signup. Secretary Vilsack also announced increased acreage allotments for three CRP practices significant to wildlife, and then signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Pheasants Forever.

Registration begins for PAA Bass Pro Shops Tournament Series
